This is a game that someone made as fan work for RWBY by Roosterteeth. So far it's just a hack-n-slash and the only playable character is Ruby (with slots made for the rest of the crew) and you have to fight waves of the Beowolf as you use Crescent Rose to fight. Be wary, you have limited ammo and will run out unless you pick up more. There is also currently no way to save your progress if you die or quit the game. All in all, it's pretty fun and has the potential to grow into something multiplayer (actually planned if I remember correctly). It's currently free so I recommend going out and at least trying it.

Love the game but just can't go further than wave 6

I was able to play the polished version while on the showroom floor at RTX. While I can tell this is the version that the guys got a hold of, let me tell you, the polished version the whole rooster teeth crew is working on, is so much cleaner.
The waves are longer, the combat is smoother. Give this one a chance guys. The crew over at rooster teeth is gonna make this into something amazing.
Props to the man who made it, and for those of you who don't know, the original creator of this game has earned a full congratulations, because this fan game has landed him a full time job working for Rooster Teeth.
