For several years a user known as Coldbird, had strive to figure and learn the inner workings of where the Frägment wanted to connect to and to see if he could redirect it elsewhere. We'll I'm here to inform you, that search has made excellent progress & result are fantastic.

Team Frägment & Coldbird intend to compensate the English playerbase that missed out on the glory days of Frägment due to it's initial release being in Japan Only - by creating an English Translation patch, and hoping to translate the entire game while adding custom content such as updated graphics and new classes. Alongside that, they intend to switch out the Japanese database for items, classes, and HUDs for English version as an added bonus.

Frägment is now a dual-platform MMORPG that can be played on the PS2 Console as well as PCSX2 (emulator). Modified clients and files are available to download @ coldbird.net. Custom modified USB files have been made available for consoles players with legitimate disc copies only.
