So. Browsing through our thread archives, i couldn't find anything good enough to be a thread for war frame ( there was one for a clan but i figured a general thread would be better.)

So. What is War Frame. Well the said picture gives a relatively hilarious overview of War Frame. You are what's known as the Tenno. A secretive race of agents that follow a Bushido like code of honor and conviction. Your Role is to maintain order in the galactic system by the best way you know how, killing the ones causing the problem in the most epic of ninja ways. There are 3 factions involved in a great conflict. The Grineer, corpus, and the infested, all of whom are vying for power. Your job is to keep balance by killing members of all 3 factions while preventing your tenno brethren from being captured for research, and testing.
The game plays out in mission select style, where you choose locations of planets on the star map and carry out variou missions from sabotaging ships, to assassinating high ranking members of the factions, to uploading false nav coordinates and information in the faction's computers. There are also various pvp conclaves as well as an amazing clan system that allows you to unlock extra weapons and research to use.
As of now these game follows the Free to play model, and is currently up for download on steam.

I remember playing it at day 3 on Steam. It was pretty awful. We all just sat in the main chat because no one could enter a mission, or whatever it's called.

A lot has been fixed though, and it's alot of fun to play, especially with friends.

I like this game, I think they found the perfect balance for F2P model. The stuff you can purchase is cool, and can still be obtained without to much difficulty in game. It just takes a while to do it the free way.

Going to attempt to resurrect this thread for the release of update 14 on PC
This latest installment is probably the biggest update yet. Adding a new frame, new weapon,new mods, the ability for the player to navigate in his own ship, a new prologue with story missions, various bug tweaks, and the ability to raise and train your own ninja pet known as a kubrow.
Run through the game with a sleek new UI, as well as an updated version of Pvp, using what are known as solar rails to do battle in clan and alliance Pvp.

Okay but what are credits good for? Is their only use attaching and upgrading mods?

My only real complaint comes down to how many credits you end up spending just to get one weapon. But it's easily gained once you get the higher leveled missions

The next update is going to be good, you can finally fight in space! A sci-fi in the future isn't good until there are space battles. Who doesn't like space battles?

Update 15's archwing looks incredible to say the least. My worry though is what kind of mission it's gonna be. How do they intend to code this with the games missions? Is it just gonna be a mission segment or it's own stand alone mission and tile set? Just gotta wait and see. It looks awesome either way, and is love the game either way regardless.
I just hope DE ignores the hype train enough to work out all the kinks, cuz they suffered quite a lot for rushing update 14 out

Just gonna post to say that you can, in fact, get your ether daggers now. For an old player who never got them when he had the chance, this is a very cool addition.

Many thing changed, but the bugframe is the same. Now, news warframe's, bosse's, Parkour system, weapons, Centinels, Kubrows and maps is something innovative but very complicated for the novice who enter to this game.
