Not a bad game. I played it back when it was pay only. Also GMed on a german private server. I enjoyed the game and the players so much that even since i didnt speak german or tagalog, I still made effort to help everyone, even it it meant hunting down a translator.
This game can mainly be described as a loot hunt. You will find yourself constantly leveling and hunting for your next nice piece of armour or weapons. But it the card system most people get addicted to. cards are like enchants for your weapons that creatures drop at a very small percentage. Unless you use a private server, then the drop percentages are usually altered to fit the faster-paced lifestyle of the server.
I tried to play now that its free to play on steam but had issues with verifying my account so I cant play. RO2 is very nice though, what little i did play. Exactly like RO1 but all 3d and very much like every other MMORPG.
