Yo, check out this game for PC called OFF. It's pretty cool and creepy, but has some nice music to it and cool boss battles. It requires RPG Maker 2003, so get that first and then download it.
It really is a great game! Not only does it have some horror elements to it, but there are intricate puzzles that will keep your mind constantly active throughout its gameplay. The story is interesting and the characters are bizarre yet alluring in a twisted sort of way. It's very fun to play. I cannot recommend this game highly enough.
This is one of the best DIY rpg's I've ever come across. Absolutely brilliant, highly recommended.

This game is amazing. Great story, great symbolism, great parallelism, great plot twist, great characters.... it had a really dark story, but I really loved it. Zacharie was my favorite :3

Playing through this again with a friend of mine, this game is so well conceived, it still kind of blows my mind how insane and brilliant it is at the same time.

Oh gosh OFF was absolutely great. It's a pity that the hype came and went like a flashflood, but regardless this game has a creepy, surreal setting and plot which is really nice in its own way. The ending is so sad. There's a fanmade sequel called HOME (told from the Judge's POV) which was circulating on Tumblr a while back, but obviously it's best to start with OFF first since the sequel is spoiler heavy
