Why is everybody complaining about the new gameplay of Final Fantasy XV? Saying is not an RPG anymore, i'll tell you what's a an RPG:
Action role-playing games (abbreviated action RPG, action/RPG, or ARPG) form a loosely defined sub-genre of role-playing video games that incorporate elements of action or action-adventure games, emphasizing real-time action where the player has direct control over characters, instead of turn-based or menu-based combat. These games often use combat systems similar to hack and slash or shooter games.
Stop complaning about everything that Square Enix brought, this game is awesome!

Because final fantasy has always created "fun" through sloging through battles and dungeons to get to more story and now that it is creating fun through having fun gameplay and interesting dungeons while also (most likely) having a compelling story.

people are freaking the fuck out cause square hasn't made a game that's fun to play and has an interesting story since like FFTA, they usually do one or the other

so in conclusion square enix is doing something smart and well designed and fun and people don't like it cause change is bad and awful and omg rpg elements mixed in with fun gameplay cant happen i mean fallout 3, oblivion, darksiders 2, fucking kingdom hearts. those never happened

I think it's because in japan they are more used to trun based RPG fighting as they have a long history of it.

From a video I just watched the game play in fights seems to be a little like DMC or other more action hack an slash games, maybe people are worrying about that.

I fully agree an RPG can be good with both good story and action, heck just look at "Deus Ex 3 Human Revolution" made by Eidos and Square Enix, or even the Elder scroll games.

I am so looking forward to this game.

Personally, I am pretty psyched for this game, I've only played a couple of FF games and I've really enjoyed the story; if it wasn't slightly too long. This game definitely looks promising.

This looks like they are taking a step back and trying new things.

I understand what you're saying, and I am totally excited for this game and I like the gameplay, but I can't help but feel like a piece of the tradition is gone. People do have a right to feel that way, the turn based fighting version is a classic, and so yeah. In a way, it sucks. I'm torn on how to feel. It just reminds me of KH gameplay, and though I love KH, I don't want FF to be it. But it seems that Square is trying to get back on track after the 13 plunder, so I hope this works for them. It better lol.

Im still surprised no one has commented on Noctis ripping off Flying Thunder God jutsu from Naruto's Father....with swords.

I mean...he throws a sword into the upper floor of a building,and flashes to it.
and then his rapid teleportation past a group killing thrm off in a single pass?lol

Am actually looking forward to the change. The gameplay looks interesting and its definately different from the other FF's. Noctis seems awesome with his group of friends

FFXV brought my interest in the series back. I like that they're going action-oriented now but I hope it isn't too similar to Kingdom Hearts.
