Wild arms2 for ps1

Well first I must recomend Halo. Any and all of them as each was the best at the time. Personally Halo Reach is my favorite. Now other games. Portal 1 and 2 are amazing. And deffinately Mirrors Edge. Mirrors Edge if you haven't played it is a Parkour based Action game. The graphics are amazing and the gameplay is smooth. It's great. On another note if you haven't looked into Bungie's new upcoming game Destiny you should. It looks promising.

Oblivion, I prefer it over skyrim

LA Noire, It is an amazing game and really makes you think carefully. Plus they used a new technology for animation that basically recorded the voice actors face. Meaning that if the voice actor's eyes moved to the right the character in the game does too. Plus its just a fun game, the driving is fun and the mini missions where you stop bank robberies are really fun. Its also fun to just explore the city which is quite accurate to how Los Angeles looked in the 1947. Plus there will be alot of DLC's coming out for this game so get ready for many hours playing this game. :3

play the original persona 4 before playing persona 4 golden. only then will you completely appreciate the golden. especially given the time gap between both games. >.35 chosing oblivion over skyrim isn't new. it's completely reasonable. oblivion had a lot going for it after all. but kids nowadays are a whole lot dumber so everything needs to be dumbed down for them. T-T sadly, a lot of other games has fallen to this as well.

Fire Emblem Awakening, it is an amazing rpg for the 3DS and in my opinion it is one of the best. This game is very addicting and hard to put down, they have amazing characters and a great plot. The cutscenes and graphics are beautiful and it is a must play for any gamers c:

the witch's house. its a pixel game for pc and its very addicting too.. and story is so so good :3 it has 3 endings. 1- original, 2- a bit different from original and 3- when your character dies. :D

if you are ok with LOOOOOONG ass games: record of agarest war, record of agarest war 2, and record of agarest war zero. those three are really long. they are broken into 3-5 generations, each generation is about 3/4th the length of a normal game.

MMOs: elsword online, rusty hearts, PokeMMo,

Could I ask what the point of this thread is? If we're just listing games we like it makes for a pretty self-indulgent thread that basically no one's gonna read except to post their own.

I mean last I checked, this is a discussion board. How is "I LIKE __ __ AND __" a discussion? Scrolling through this really quick I saw maybe 5 or 6 people that included any extra information other than the name of the games they recommended.

For the most part it serves the same general purposes as any other recommendations thread pound the other boards. Although, I do see your point. Its true that not many people ( including myself) have really posted i discription to any game we've recommended.

I recommend playing Secret of Mana it's a great work of art and a just plain fun game that made so many childhoods, it's unlikely you will play it on its original console but you can play it on virtual console on the Wii and I think there is an app for it.

Final Fantasy:Dirge of Cerberus for ps2 is entertaining, even though it's repetitive. Also, Morrowind, especially for the Tamriel Rebuilt mod, can't wait until it's finished.

I recommend Fire Emblem Awakening for 3DS, as well as Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright game for the same platform.
For PS3, Beyond: Two Souls, Alice Madness Returns and The Last of Us

Are there any 3D MMORPG games that are dungeon-based and legitimately open world with economies, partying, etc - that can still be solo'd?

I'm thinking of something similar to the .hack//Sign series, but without the overlying story of the actual games. Something more like the original concept from the manga.

The above post excludes Runescape, btw, though it's similar to what I'm imagining.

Final Fantasy VI is an amazing game. I know that most gamers like to skip right to Final Fantasy VII (as it considered a popular landmark in the franchise,) but Final Fantasy VI is a really great game in the series and I would recommend it to anyone who likes story based gameplay.

For mystery lovers that enjoy the story, I'd recommend Dangan Ronpa, just be aware that the series can get pretty twisted, even by Durarara's standards (not quite Attack on Titan though).

One of my favorites is The World End With You. Its be Square Enix so you know it's story is great, and the gameplay is alot of fun. I'd by another ds just to play it again.

I'd say Xenoblade Chronicles, but it's not 100% new, it's kinda 2010, 2011 and 2012, depending on where you live. Japan 2010, PAL regions 2011 and 2012 for America. Best game ever in my opinion, but you can ignore my opinion if you want. Xenoblade Chronicles is on the Nintendo Wii, being the 100% best game on the Wii that would've looked better on any other console, but looks amazing for the Wii, and is being remade for the New Nintendo 3DS. I can say Bravely Default, released in 2012 for Japan, remade for Japan and released in PAL regions late 2013, and February 2014 was when it was released in 'Murica.

I had a post that I was making about a game called Suikoden that's a PlayStation classic but after switching tabs to find a good picture of the game, my writing was somehow deleted before I could actually post it. I hate this phone. Anyway, yeah, you guys should play Suikoden.

I'd suggest Metro series. You could buy the redux version, it's worth it guys. I'm a guy who pirate games tbh, but when the game is super good or it's only available online, I'd buy that game. Buy it guys, coming from a boy who pirates game and one that hates horror/scary etc games.
