This game...Oh my, the first time I've played this game, I wanted to cry. It's just delicious game play. I usually despise turn based games but this game converted me. I don't even know where to begin. You get to build your own unit, and you pick every soldier you want and they all have personalities and it's just AMAZING!

If someone told me a few years ago to buy a specific console just for a game I would say they are completely insane. But now, if you need a reason to buy a PS3, this game is it.

You could probably find videos on Youtube about this game, what I write on here can't give this game any justice.

I also got this game and I couldn't agree more with what you said OP.

Its only a shame that sequel to Valkyria Chronicles is on the psp, but the up side is that you have one of your buddies play co-op with you ^_^ and its more like an anime Highschool setting :P

I haven't played the one on the PSP yet, mostly because I don't have a PSP, but it seems pretty cool. I kind of like the whole war theme, I hope the Highshool setting isn't really lame and too...Slow.

Aww :( No Xbox 360 support, maybe steam will get it eventually...

This was the best RPG this gen imo.
Anyone who hasn't played it should!

4 Things:
1: Loved the original one, it was a fun game.
2: Strangely, 2 was my favorite game, because of the fact there was more diversity, more strategies, and especially, artificial Valkyrias that gave me one heckuva challenge postgame
3: 3 was... despite what most people say, ehh.... Removed a lot of the diversity, and instead, put in SP moves that was definetly overpowered.
4: Project X Zone has the main 3 characters from VC3 with Selvaria also.

So, wait, did VC3 ever get ported over from japan? Or do they at least have any plans to do so?
