Needless to say, this thread is a Yu-Gi-Oh! thread. I saw one for Cardfight!! Vanguard, but Yu-Gi-Oh! was distinctly absent. And, as a player of about 12 or so years, I figured I'd start a thread for it. You can share deck recipes, strategies, opinions on cards, and your personal favorite cards here. All just for the fun of it. I will warn you that I am not a metagame player. I'll still use various staples but I don't overuse the same exact monsters over and over. Anyway, have fun with it.

Not really.

Although I have to say this has a better OP statement, certainly.

lol I guess I didn't quite look hard enough to see if I was duplicating anything. Oh well, whatever works.

Anyway, on the subject of decks (that I just brought up) I have yet to be able to make anything really good/useful with the newer cards due to just not having any money to buy them, so I'm still making due with what I have. What I have is a Synchron deck and a Cyber Dragon deck. The Cyber Dragon deck focuses mostly on the diversity of the title monster, although I need to get some copies of Cyber Larva and a Cyber Phoenix to really get it going well. It has a mostly offensive feel and gets support through a few continuous spell cards as well as some just all-around good Machine monsters, namely the Cyber fusion monsters. The Synchron deck, however, is much more complex, and deals with a lot of situations really well. It uses all of the "Warrior" and "Junk" Synchro monsters I currently have in addition to Stardust Dragon and his various "evolved" forms. Of course, to make the best use of all these Synchro monsters I have pretty much every useful Synchron you can think of, as well as Debris Dragon. Not only do I have as much card draw as the game will allow without delving into the forbidden zone despite my limited number of cards that provide draw power, but I also make use of the Synchro monsters in what I call a "Synchro Swarm" strategy. I can bring out multiple Synchro monsters in a single turn with relative ease. And if my Synchros can't cut it, I can make even my smallest monsters huge powerhouses with what I have.

And with that the wall o text is done.
