Yes, I know there is already a thread about this, however:
>It's basicly dead
>I want to make a better one
>This will be a discussion for all Dead Space games/lore. I just put 1&2 in the title because those are the two main installments right now.

Let's begin...

Dead Space starts off with our hero, CEC Engineer Isaac Clarke, when his ship the Kellion, crashed into the derelict USG Ishimura, which has gone quiet. It later becomes clear that the ship was not abandoned...

Due to the (re)discovery of the "Marker", alien being known as Necromorphs run rampent, killing and changing the population of the Aegis VI colony and the Ishimura into monsters, as their name suggests. Isaac must repair sections of the ship to escape the Ishimura, destroying the marker as well.

In the second Installment, three years later, Isaac is on the Sprawl, A large colony located of the shards of Saturn's moon Titan. Isaac has acquired a form of dementia from the marker, which the Earth Gov take advantage of by sedating Isaac and another patient and using their brains to create a new marker. This causes a second outbreak in which Isaac meets Ellie, who is also trying to escape. Isaac, with the help of Ellie and Strauss, eventually destroys the marker, finally deals with his bitchy dead ex-girlfriend, and escapes the Sprawl.

The game was developed by EA Redwood Shores, AKA Viscral Games. It is one of the scariest games I've ever played. It relies on dark, surreal environments, unexpected noises, great ambience, and grotesque enemies to keep the player in a constant state of anxiety.

Personally, I think the first games was scarier, but I loved the second game for it's varying and vibrant colours and huge environments. The scariest part of the first game (IMO) is level nine, when you enter the crashed military ship. The best part of the second game is when you reenter the Ishimura to find a dark, cold place covered in plastic and red tape.

You didnt have to tell us the beginning... making a thread better than the original is already enough to make it the replacement. This is one of those times where you dont/shouldnt justify why you did what you did.

People do that, but replace it with "There wasn't any thread for ____". But, "It's basicly dead" does not make it okay to make a new thread. Just a heads up for Maru Kai, and any others who'll get the wrong idea from reading that one point. The other points are fine.
