Story

Borderlands 2 follows the story of four new Vault Hunters as they fight to free Pandora from the clutches of Handsome Jack, the brilliant, charismatic, and utterly despicable CEO of the Hyperion Corporation.

Players will fight across the whole of Pandora to stop Jack from awakening an ancient alien evil known only as "the Warrior." Their quest will bring them into contact with some familiar faces from the old game – most notably, the original four Vault Hunters: Roland, Lilith, Brick and Mordecai. They, along with some brand new characters, will help players defeat Jack, destroy the Warrior, and save Pandora.

I remember getting the Order shield. I had a revolver that gave me +100% Melee damage, and it had the word "Law" in it, which meant that not only did I hit for 200%-8000% Damage, but I healed almost that much. Every Melee Killing Blow kill = Instant heal.

So...now I've finished it. I kinda feel like we need a thread tagged for super spoilery discussion in order to really get into how I feel about it. I love the story.

The ending...while I enjoy it, almost feels like they're trying to premarket some DLC, which is mildly disappointing, but fine by me cause I want more Borderlands adventures anyways.

Love the game so much, played all the DLC's, reached the improved level cap, made an OP build for Zero's melee but I sitll want more. So psyched for the new playable psycho that should be coming out soon. It was pretty shitty around the start because I could only play with other macs but once they fixed that it was really good. Only problem, level 61 true vault hunter mode still destroys you even though you are the best it could possibly be (Dont even get me started on Ultimate True Vault Hunter Mods). Still great game though.

Btw, there is still a bug in the game from one of the last update/patchs -
where player 2 in split screen gets 11 keys for the big box in sanctuary.

Got back into Bl2 recently, trying to get to level 61 but it's such a bitch. Especially because I have barely any friends that game and those that do, do it on consoled. I've done every single DLC on true vault hunter mode so now I just need to finish the campaign again and start Ultimate True Vault Hunter Mode.

Kreig is fucking amazing by the way. At first he's a little tricky to play with, and he dies a lot, but when you figure out his playstyle he gets supremely fun. His ability is also possibly the coolest one around. The only problem was his skins aren't very good, only the DLC ones have tattoos at all. Still a great fun to play as though, I'm aiming to get him to at least 50.

On a different note, I made my Zero the Bloodthurst build again and he becomes fucking OP. I went through Round 3 of Pyro Pete's Bar Brawl 3 times in a row without going down once (on True Vault Hunter Mode). As soon as I get to 57, I can have Kunai as well as the Bloodthurst ultimate and I will be god. Mainly it's due to my build that does 200% melee damage (gun), 40% melee damage (relic) and 26% sped up ability cool down rate (Class Mod). It's so much funner than guns too for some reason.

II went through Round 3 of Pyro Pete's Bar Brawl 3 times in a row without going down once (on True Vault Hunter Mode). ****
I intended to mention that I was only using melee attacks to do it, thus the importance.

Oh dear god, Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode is fucking impossible! I think the intention is to play it in groups of four people so soloing it is kind of hard. Enemies regenerate health and even the minor types have the build of Extreme Baddasses. It does grant a shitload more XP though, guess that's an upside.

As soon as I get to Sanctuary on Ultimate Vault hunter mode, if you want, I'll give you an Infinity Pistol and you can just leave the glitch mission from Marcus running. It will most likely get you to 61 overnight at least.

The testing guns missions, as long as you use the wrong element, it never progresses. Plus, ever enemy still grants XP/don't move so you can just hold down the fire button and leave.

One of my idiot friends ruined it. We walked in and I said, "Okay, he's going to tell you to slag the person, whatever you do, don't. He will stop re-spawning if you do." First thing friend does is shoot the guy with slag. Now I have to wait till sanctuary on UVHM which is going to take fucking ages.

It's really not that hard to get to level 61 in seconds. either being cheating or just power-leveling. But, why is everyone trying to be Level 61? why not just play the game and enjoy the fun.

I just don't get why people want to be 61 and then do missions. Just seems a bit pointless. More fun with a challenge in my opinion.

The only cheats I play with are for ammo regen (very slow regen) and an upped drop rate on raid bosses (Upped by 5%). Cause it feels more rewarding and I usually play with a full party that want to do it over and over until something good drops they can use. Just shortens the time spent on one boss and we can move on to the next.

I did download some level 50 characters but I never used them. I also did a cheat that gave me 250 golden keys but once again, haven't used them. It's one of the first games where I can repeat the story line multiple times with no cheats and not get bored.

Some theories say that he is Tiny Tina's father after he got experimented on by Hyperion, hence his ability "redeeming the soul", his obsession with explosives and the fact that he "escaped from an experimentation lab deep under ground" which is where Tiny Tina's father was at.


Also I still love Zero the most.
