In the year 20XX, it began. Dr. Light created Mega Man and he fought the Robot Masters for the first time, and when the game came out we loved it! I wasn't around for the first game but over the years I became what you may wind up calling a "Mega Man Junkie", especially for games containing Zero or the various things he's capable of.

So since I have your attention, this thread is not to go for the wonderful cause of bringing back MegaMan Legends 3 since that thread has already been made. This thread is for Mega Man fans to discuss Mega Man games, shows, manga, everything that contains the Blue Bomber. So, have fun and let's do some Mega Man stuff!

That is the coolest picture ever.

So, since it seems to be hard to break the ice, I think I'll take the first crack at it.

Anyone have a favorite Mega Man series? Personally I'm fond of the X and Zero series, but I'd have to say if I had to pick one I'd say the Zero series. At first I thought it was gonna be bad because of how Zero's look had so radically changed, but then I got to playing it and I saw how amazing it is. Best of the bunch: Zero 3 in my opinion. It's just amazing.

I like the pic. My favorite series is between legends and NT warrior.

My favorite series is the battle network series.

Yeah, the Classic and Battle Network series are pretty amazing. I unfortunately can't say that I've played 9 and 10 of the classic series, but I want to. When it comes to the Battle Network series, I have to say it's another epic one. I've only beaten the final two, though. The earlier ones are a lot harder.

For me, my favorites are the X and Battle Network series. X4 was the first game I ever beat by my self with out help. (I started playing games later then most and defeating the E4 in Pokemon is not 'Beating The Game' to me) Battle Network's system was almost faultless to me, controls felt great, the system was balanced, a great game over all

One game I have to say had to suck before it ever even released... Mega Man Xover for the Android and iPhone. Any game that has such little effort put into it that they gave it "autoplay" is not worthy of a 25th anniversary release. Not to mention they could have easily finished MegaMan Legends 3 without Inafune there.

Had the sword cannon, it was awesome when I was 13. But I put it in the storage.

So, even though Capcom has been sucking hardcore at making Mega Man games as of late, it seems the fan games are quite good. There's a couple pages on www.screwattack.com that showcase a bunch of them. Some don't seem that great, but others show off some really impressive level design, enemy design, and all-around originality while still making it feel just like an "official" Mega Man game. I suggest you check it out.

Capcom has been treating Mega Man so badly. I would love to see them make more games, especially recreate the Battle Network series (Star Force I feel is a bad continuation).
