I...would most likely kill my computer playing that game. Enemies like that, where there are no sound indicator that they're nearby or anything of the like scare me more than anything.

I've played this once and never before have I found a game that gets right down to what the core of fear is. Sure you've got all those games that are designed to scare you and a few may, but this game, in all its simplicity, is one that can consistently scare you and probably give you nightmares for weeks. For anyone who wants to play a game that will scare you and make you worried about what is behind you, this is the game for you. And as a last thought, remember, he watches without seeing.

I haven't played the game, but i watched PewDiePie play it on youtube, and i actually SCREAMED a few times from being so SCARED! even Pewdiepie hasn't finished the game, and he has played it more than 3 times! i would probably stop playing after the first time.

holy crap i was watvhing toonami when a commercial for this came on. anyone on here watch that? of course toonami is on at night so i couldn't sleep then. that was how i found out about this game

I heard there's a new Slender game/map out now too called Sanatorium.

Only found out about it through looking up various LPs I watch.

so my friend and I were playing slenderman and he likes toturn up the brightness on his tv so he can turn the flashlight off and the fog off so we can still see (cheating in my opinion(not that it helps that much)you can see very well when you do this but slendy gets pissed off) so we managed 5/8 pages however at 5 pages slenderman got right pissed about our setting and was right behind us and actually turned us around so we had to look at him and we lost not fair slendy not fair!!! and to prove he really hates these settings another time at 3 pages right after we got out of the main building where he slalks you down the halls and you get cought almost every time (rape chamber as some call it) we made it out and we were on our way to those tanks when he teleported right infront of us and we lost

Now that all being said we did decide to play a round where all we did was look for slenderman and it took us 10 min to find him we even managed to get 2 pages that we stumbled apon and when we found him we charged him (wanted a good look at his face that isn't there)

There is in fact a new map out for Sender called "Sanitorium". The game is NOT a true sequel to the original Slender, nor was it even made by the same people. However, this doesn't stop the new map from being absolutely terrifying.

I have to say the latter is a wee bit more terrifying because he can be around any corner, and you can't just run your little heart out in a straight line until you hit a fence.

Both are wonderful tributes to the Slender mythos, and I recommend them to anyone who doesn't feel like sleeping tonight.

If you <3 Slendy make sure to look at all the fun things left around the internet about him.

I wouldn't really say it scared me, no, but it did freak the bollocks out of me, it did. I saw TOM advertising it on Toonami, and I immediately fell in love. My brother downloaded it, and let me play it. First time playing:
Walking aroung, looking for pages.Find atleast 3.Slenderman pops out in front of me.I scream, lose control of mouse, lose game, and hide in closet the rest of the night with stuffed animals and a flashlight.

Slenderman, speaking of the game, is not scary. To me, it was just surprising when I saw him during my first play.

I've played games in which I've been surprised by mutants, aliens, monsters, corpses, and unspeakiable things... Gore and murder, flashes of phantoms, bloody sneak attacks... None frightened me, and few even startle me...

None made me yell or scream. Why would I scream at a tall, skinny tentacled gentleman standing passively in the woods?

In fact, I wish he could hear me so I could complement his suit. :l

Well Slender Man is always a classic horror game unlike Five Nights of Freedie's where faulty autromatic(I have no idea how it spell) just appear in front of you. There's probably alot of better horror games but let's try playing this game again, maybe it won't jump-scare you.
