Okay to start things off I looked through the threads and did not see this being discussed so I decided to start it.

~what I consider "classic" is N64 and older.

Anyways, My favorite classic video game is Metroid. I sat for hours playing it when I was younger.

Pokemon Red! The first Rpg i've ever played.

all those were my favorite when I played with my Gameboy color as a kid.

mario 64 my parents used to leave me at kidsquest (if anyone remembers those) and id play that all the time

I have a rather long list:
Pokemon LeafGreen- I never got to play it much, but it was old fashioned
Pokemon Sapphire- Need I say more? Its a good game with an interesting story
Pokemon Emerald- Combines Sapphire and Ruby
pokemon XD Gale of Darkness- Interesting story, Shadow Pokemon, double battles.... its epic.
Basically all pokemon games.

Bioshock 2: Rapture... such a 'nice' underwater city. Gone to ruin. It had a good story, gore a plenty, but they skimped out a little on story.

Skyrim: No need to say a thing.

Kingdom Hearts Series: The story is wonderful, you get to see old Disney classics, travel around with GOOFY AND DONALD, the characters are vivid, and the enemies are cool.

The original Lunar Silver Star Story. I fell in love with the characters and storyline

Though it is an rpg. It has the same general, give or take, basics that a lot of rpg's back then have, and as well as some of today.

You're also playing a role, as well as controlling a lot of different 'smaller' characters. (The Pokemon).


My favorite Classics are 2 games.
Final Fantasy 6 (it is a classic) as well as Chrono Trigger.

7 may be seen as a classic for PS1, but it's far from the classics I thought they were talking about. Clasics to me, are NES, SNES and such.

I don't count N64 though. Since it's not at all deemed classic. I guess if you grew up when the PS1 and 64 were coming out, it's a classic to you, but if that is the case they don't know what true classics are.

I'd probably have to say it's a tie between Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time and Pokemon Snap, both for N64.
