99 Rooms is a beautiful Flash point-and-click adventure of the 'escape the room' variety. The object is to make it through all 99 rooms to the end.
The game makes use of gorgeous (and at times slightly unsettling) photography mixed with animations for visuals, and a moody atmospheric soundtrack that works extremely well with the settings for effect. Add to that a bit of Flash interactivity and the result is a memorable experience that will entertain you for a while.
The project was created in Germany by Kim Koester, Richard Schumann, Johannes Buenemann, and Stephan Schulz.
Some of the art is shown above in the picture, but there's MUCH more in the game. It is sort of hard to call 99 Rooms a game since there's so little interactive activity, but many websites do put it in the game category instead of art. 99 Rooms really is a freaky walk through some weird stuff, but pretty much all of it is interesting, contemplative, or just plain weird enough to keep your interest for quite some time. I highly recommend checking it out online sometime when you've got nothing to do.

DISCLAIMER: Some people may find the game a bit too freaky for their tastes on the first run through. There IS a pop-up or two, though I don't think they're all that frightening. Consider this a warning if you're for faint of heart.
