Sony has just announced their new game PLaystation All-Stars. It looks to take a large number of Sony's most famous characters from their various game series and pit them in battle against one another in a 2D platformer-esque fighting style. Thus far, not a lot of details have been released about the game, except that 6 of the playable characters include Kratos, PaRapa the rapper, fat princess, Sly Cooper, Radec, and Sweet Tooth.

Let's face it. This game is probably one of the most shameless rip-offs of a popular game ever created, namely Super Mario Smash Bros., but in spite of that it is setting itself up to be one of the most anticipated games on the PS3 in a while, and there pretty much has to be some way, aside from the characters, that it will set itself apart from Nintendo's powerhouse fighting series.

I am personally anticipating this game's release, and i am curious of other people's opinions on the matter.

I've never played Super Smash Bros. although I did want to at some point.

I don't really care about it being a rip-off. As long as it plays well. I'm waiting for more of the roster to be revealed. If a character from the Yakuza series appears, I'll be keeping my eyes on this game. The title's... kinda bad. Not too late to change it though.

They were talking about that on gt tv last thersday.
