Good Evening/Morning my fellow Dollars. I've recently joined and I enjoy what I see so far and if this is the wrong area then please let me know so it can go in the right area, but I see a lack of a pen and paper dice RPG thread. I'm wondering how many other Dollars partake in RPG games in this format so I figure to test the waters. Below is a short description I copy/pasted.

The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game (abbreviated as PFRPG) is a fantasy role-playing game (RPG) first published in 2009 by Paizo Publishing. It extends and modifies the Revised 3rd Edition Dungeons & Dragons' game rules published by Wizards of the Coast under the Open Game License, and was designed over the course of a year with the help of gamers who could download the playtest versions of the game, try the system and post their feedback on Paizo's website. Announced in March 2008, the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game was released in August 2009. The PFRPG is intended to be backward-compatible with D&D3.5, while addressing some of its issues.

Feel free to discuss your favorite moments, advice, favorite character builds, and etc here.

I like pathfinder, they made it easier to allocate your skill points by packing skills like search, spot, and listen all in to one skill (perception). It also threw away with the cross class penalties which was nice

Oh this looks awesome. I've really been enjoying Pathfinder so far. I've been able to make my own interpretation of a Dragoon, instead of going with the mount-reliant variant the game offers, I'm taking a Polearm Master from the Advanced Player's Guide, and combining it with Ranger so that I can maximize jumping ability, so, it should be pretty obvious what kind of Dragoon I am. The guy's name is "Shin Highwind" and his main weapon is a +1 spear.

Yeah I like all the changes they made, they made it simpler without pulling a 4.0 and completely ruining the game imho. They essentially did what Wizards should've done in regards to D&D. I also like how they increased the hit die and retooled the skill points system.

I like the gunslinger class they added, it actually gives a good selection of firearms you can use

That sounds like it's gonna be fun. If only they made a gunblade...

I usually don't like guns in D&D or pathfinder settings but that's just me, seems a bit overpowered but there are some settings that make sense, I'm just not a big fan of it.

(I hope people still reply to this)

>>6 creating a gunblade shouldn't be too complex, it's the character's feats and stats and class choices that would make the character useful in combat. there's so many thing's you'll have to do to be proficient in combat.
