Oh, I had wondered if there was a Go thread. Now there is. Anyways, I had taken up this game a couple of months ago, where I had also made a small club at my school as well.

Some sites you'd want to go online to play against others is KGS (http://www.gokgs.com/)

Some sites to practice Go is http://www.goproblems.com/ and http://gochild2009.appspot.com/

But practicing playing against others is even better than just doing problems and such, I guess.

Forgot one more thing, another Go server that you can play on is Tygem Baduk. It's the higher double digit kyus though. So yeah. I tried to play on there while I'm like a lower double digit kyu and got slaughtered.

So yeah.

Got into Go last year after watching Hikaru no Go. Went out of my way to get a 19x19 board, bowls, and stones. Had nobody to play it with. My mother played it with me a few times, but I won 6 matches out of 8. Played against my stepbrother twice and won both times. Both times he quit and pushed stones off the board because he couldn't win. He even tried sneaking his stones on the board, taking mine off, and moving them around. And do to where my school is located, I wouldn't anyone for a Go club. We have enough trouble trying to start a Chess club.
