Alright people. So if you payed as much attention as I did to this game, then you probably didn't know that it came out already. But, I am pleased to say that this AC sequel has hit consoles and is ready to kick in some teeth.
Now I know what some(if not most) of you are thinking: "But, Feral, it's Armored Core. Why would you want to create a thread about a zippy bullet-hose of a mech shooter?"
Well to be honest this game kind of surprised me. I mean, I came from the Chromehounds era of mech gaming(thank you to the few of you who know what I'm talking about). But the combat has taken a turn as being a slower, more tactical squad based combat system that really hooked me. In previous titles, a victor was determined by whoever could out-maneuver their opponent. This time around, however, everything is about strategy and what you can and can't handle.
There has been a squadron-based multiplayer/single player hybrid implemented into the game that allows a ton of people(not quite sure where population cap sits) can do missions or take territory on the map, all while flying beneath the colors of a single flag. Territories can be invaded, taken, defended, modified, you name it. Teams with the most territories dominate multiplayer, simple as that.
Customization isn't what I had hoped for(still expecting a Chromehounds style) but to be honest, it doesn't detract from the overall experience much.
But that's enough out of me. Tell me what you thought of this game, and don't be shy about posting your team here either.

Also, my squadron is Deadbeat! I play 360, so if you're looking for a hard hitting team, hit me up. I have it on Free Enlistment. The level is a bit low, but that's because I had belonged to a different squadron that decided to stab me in the back. I was level 100, but oh well.

Bump for awesome.
So far I love it. Destroyed the story, working through order missions while knocking the territories around a little bit. Our little two-man team is kicking some ass, but we could certainly kick some more if we had more players :P
