Just picked up this game yesterday and I absolutely love it so far! I love all of the characters and the storyline! Though the battle system has some getting used to, I still find it really fun! I also heard that there was a series for games similar to this, so, after I'm done with this game, I'm planning on looking for the other games from this series.

Any of you guys ever heard to this series or play any of their games? Just interested. I also want to find out if all of the other games are just as good as this one.

Im a huge fan of Tales games! i got my copy when the store opened and just got to the part where Pascal becomes a member, i agree the battle system is something new, learning to both use B-artes and A-artes so i can hit monster weakness and heal a little. characters are neat yet they dont show much development(personaly i hate Hubert >> still pissed i lost to him) Overall i love the game and i suggest if you like Graces then you will also like the other Tales games too

I finally was able to start playing Graces f today! Richard sounds like Symphonia's Mithos and Asbel sounds like a young Ben Tennyson XD; But overall, I'm still getting used to this battle system. I think it's a successful battle system and being able to sidestep (around step? I think that's what it was called... at least in the JP version) is quite fun.

I haven't gotten far in the game yet, was only able to play for two hours. I know I'm going to enjoy this one, though!

Just finished it! :D I'm at the extended storyline now and the story's pretty nice. I still like Abyss's storyline the most though and I agree Abyss, Symphonia and Vesperia are the most recommended tales games.

The battle system is sooooo fun!! 8D I love the combination of A and B Artes and the sidestep/backstep/forwardsteps make the battles a lot more exciting. I especially like practicing my dodging skills with the side and backsteps. lol it always feels like I'm trolling the enemy. xD I think the battle system's my most favorite part of the game along with the voiced-over skits! I played Abyss and so very wished that the skits were voiced. D: I hated viewing the skits (especially Jade's sarcasm) on silence.

I can already tell I'm gonna be spending a lot of time on this game. 8D

The game was soo good! The only thing I had a hard time getting used to was the battle system at first, but it gets easier was time goes. I loved the characters and the skits too!

Pissed it didn't come out for the 360, now I have to get a ps3. I have been waiting for this for so long you don't even know. looks like I'll go and replay Phantasia...

>>7 Ah, the original one. I forgot for a moment that he had two voice actors, Tara Strong as well as Yuri Lowenthal. I looked up the voice actors after I posted that and it turns out I was wrong on both counts. They still sound so much like the other characters though!

I just finished the Future Arc today and now I'm working on the Zhonecage. I have 90-someodd hours already clocked in on this game and I'm not even close to being satisfied. I'll definitely be loading this up on a new game +!
