"Banjo-Kazooie follows the story of Banjo, a brown honey bear, and Kazooie, a red female bird who is always kept in Banjo's backpack. The game begins when a fool-tempered witch named Gruntilda learns from her cauldron that she is not the most beautiful girl of all, but instead a bear named Tooty, who is Banjo's sister.[1] In retaliation, Gruntilda creates a machine which can transfer a person's level of beauty to another, with which she intends to use with Tooty.[2] She then abducts Tooty from Banjo's house while he is sleeping.[3] In response to the kidnapping, Kazooie wakes Banjo up and the two set out to rescue her."
I was on my xbox when I saw this, and sooooo many memories came flooding back. I remember as a kid playing this game for hours trying to find every note, every jiggy, and every empty honeycomb piece. So I searched here and couldn't find a thread, so I figured I might as well make one.
I wish Microsoft would sell off Rare that way they could actually make good games again. Microsoft doesn't let them do shit, hell when the Stamper brothers left you knew it was gonna go down hill, but damn not this much. They aren't even a shell of their former selves, which means we will probably never get another great Banjo, Jet Force, Killer Instinct, Conker game again. Microsoft getting their hands on Rare was the worse thing that happened to them as a company. :/
I completely agree, Microsoft completely fucked up Rares games. Conker's Bad Fur Day was hilarious and extremely fun to play. Conker Live and Reloaded sucked.
