Clover was an independent development studio that developed such classics as: Okami, God Hand and Viewtiful Joe 1 & 2. They have sadly been shut down some time ago, but then, many of the members made another studio; Platinum Games, and they are responsible for Bayonetta, Madworld and the upcoming Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. That's right, Clover is making Metal Gear! Also when I was younger, I had the Clover logo painted on my wall!
