Does anyone here Beyblade? You can discuss any series of Beyblade, the video games or the actual hobby here ^^
I've been Beyblading since the original ones came out in the early 2000's. I currently am playing in MFB, and it's really fun! You can find a LOT of people on the WBO (World Beyblade Organization) who Beyblade, and you can signup here - http://worldbeyblade.org/member.php?action=register&referrer=19122
Hopefully I can Beyblade with a bunch of fellow Dollars ^^ My name here is the same there.
The games are usually bad, but the best one IMO is the one for the Gamecube.

Of course the new ones will beat the other ones since the newer ones are heavier, and better designed for performance.

The old ones look cooler, but the new ones perform better.

Solution: Modify the new ones to look better/more like the old ones.
I have yet to get my hands on a beyblade, but I remember when everyone had one. Oh those were the days...

i wish i could find my old blade, had a dragoon with a slightly heavier than normal weight disk and a jumper bottom, left handed dragon rip. was so good at making it bounce just right to make it ride the wall and spiral in for the attack. won almost every match that way. but it got to the point where i couldnt find competition. =(

Hah, modifying them is quite hard actually. I never got any real competition (nor do I still) since many people don't blade around me. WBO helps with me staying in the hobby though with new releases/a bunch of people to talk to about pretty much anything.

>>7 ha I never would've thought they would be :/
I think I'm gonna have to pick me up one of the new ones.
Oh back when Beyblade first came out, I was the only kid who didn't have one, but my friends were kind enough to let me battle with theirs. We'd always hold competitions during recess.
Nowadays though, it sucks that only a few people actually blade, when i can actually GET a beyblade lol.
I'll have to check it out!

Problem with the new ones: the L Drago blade is the only blade that has left spin, while the rest are forced to keep right spin.

Actually, that's not true. :)
Gravity Perseus (you may know it as Destroyer if you don't watch the Asian anime) is both left spin and right. Sa,e with Variares. (bey released only by TAKARA-TOMY and Sono Kong right now, not Hasbro)
Defeating left spin customs like L-Drago isn't hard. Use a defense type and you have it in the bag with some skill.

Awesome! I still play with my old ones from time to time.

>>11 defencives are decent, but very easy to beat if you know what your doing. just a matter of launching at the right angle so you can get under the attack ring and push it upward it's over. (best done with a left spinning bey that utalizes a attack ring made for right spinning blade)
