does any dollars know the game monster hunter? its a great game

wasnt this a manga/anime before? or am i thinking of monster rancher or something along that line.

I played the original Monster Hunter on PS2, then I played Monster Hunter Freedom, then I played Monster Hunter Freedom 2nd G, and now I'm playing Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. I have Monster Hunter Tri, but I don't like the Wii controls.

Man, I played the hell out of the original. The sequel's were all right, but when Tri came out it blew my mind. I use the gamecube controller for it though. Its fun as fuck.

Anyway, I just started playing Monster Hunter Tri. Loving it so far.

Hunter Rank 100 in MH3, not a big rank but I'm an avid fan of Monster Hunter and Monster Hunter-esque games. It's too bad there won't be MHP3 because of Crapcom. >:|

I'm waiting for them to release Frontier already, among other MH games, like Felyne Village and Portable 3rd.
It sucks cause it took me foreveer to get to fight Lao Shan Lung and then my PSP broke and my data got erased >:c

I just imported portable 3rd HD from Japan for my ps3, and I'm fucking loving it so far. :D luckily the ps3 isn't region based and can play games from any country.

Mh tri is amazing, but alas i lack a wii so i only got to play when i went over to my friends. I think i got to the 4th tier on solo, 3rd or 4th on multi. In other words i didnt have the mohjarn guy yet... sad days.

I have MHFU, MHP3 and am going to get MH3U and MH4 when they come out. Hopefully MH4 gets localized

I have like 300 hours in MHFU and only 150 in MHP3
I have never played with other people though because i dont have wired internet for my PS3 or friends that play the games

I really wish MH4 would have online play even though it probably wont

Monster Hunter Tri was my favorite Nintendo game of all time.
I miss feeling the rush of having a monster spot you, and starting an epic battle.

Oh I love the monster hunter series so much it has gave my weeks of entertainment

But I hated the delivery quest havering to carry eggs , dodging smaller monsters, watching the stamina meter to make sure not to drop the item only to be hit by a stupid little bug *sigh* got to love monster hunter

Mh tri u for 3ds and Wii u 3ds version has no online just local multiplayer with friends but can link it up to Wii u version and do file shares and online on the 3ds but only if the Wii u is online with a different account

I got Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate when I got a 3DS, and made sure I got the Wii U version when I picked up the system. I'm well aware of the system. It's pretty amazing. Although I don't quite understand why you have to fight a Jhen Morahn in single-player. It's really REALLY hard, and I went at it with my best equipment. Of course, I could stand to improve my equipment as well.

Has anyone read the manga based on this written by Hiro Mashima? I started to read it but then I got a little bored.

i'm coming up on 80 hours here. What are all of your favorite types of weapons and what do you think of the new ones and the new mechanics (like mounting)? I personally love the insect glaive, though i still main dual blades. I was excited for the charge blade, but then i heard about the phial thing and the overcharge and thought it was ridiculous. I did give it a try and i really like it.

Insect Glaive is my favorite so far

I always love the switch axe from the 1st time it came out on MH3rd, but I also like the new insect glaive and charge blade, mostly because it give you a new tactic to crush those monsters (with the jump n mount with insect glaive, or explosive combo of charge blade)

So they can use new technology to make super detailed graphics, but they still couldn't make room for a female playable character? You think by now they could have...

But this game dose have female playable characters.

Yeah Monster Hunter 3 was the first one I properly played. I played a demo of the first one back on the PS2 so I dont really count that one. Love the concept and the game so far but the constant farming gets tediously boring and the graphic aren't great either. Cant wait for MH Online though @.@

I tried the trial for 'Monster Hunter 4' on 3DS the other day. It was awful. The camera was distracting and I couldn't see what was going on. The game had 5 stars...
