I'm currently really into Yume Nikki...
and all the fangames of it, like .flow and Yume 2kki

I just love the concept and visual and how the game just goes, not to mention the little hints in the games that tell about Madotsuki's memories

Any body here heard of it?


If you haven't I'd recommend playing it, as long as you can stand creepy things. Like, really creepy things. Theres no more than 1 actual jump scare in Yume Nikki, and no more than 2 in Yume 2kki (which is GIGANTIC) and .flow
But even with out jump scares it's pretty freaking scary
But if you don't mind them or love horror games,
its really really fun.
Like, REALLY fun. My friend doesn't mind horror games and she loved it. A lot.

I have heard of it. It was mentioned at a panel at otakon. But yea, I have never played it.

It's a simple game where you walk around collecting 'effects' and discover the ending once you have all 24. I didn't find it very scary until after playing it on the computer in my basement til' late one night, then having to walk upstairs to bed in complete darkness. (Fridge Logic at its finest) . -. Ending was... didn't expect what happened to happen.

Never heard of it until this thread, but you can bet I'm going to play it now. Horror is a huge passion of mine and I can't wait to see what this brings to the table.

Yume nikki is one of my favorite games, it's just so perfectly atmospheric. Dark room and headphones recommended!

I really want to play it... A lot. But I'm not allowed to download games on my Mum's computer, so I'm stuck watching videos and staring at fan-art.

It works now! That AFM program was causing the black screens, and someone recommended an alternative method to running the game.

this is a really great game, all of you should play it. just use maps though.
