For those uninformed: This is a game from the Phantasy Star Universe series for the psp, It has similarities to PSO but it's not quite the same. Still a great game.

So with the defenders pack coming out on the 30th I think, which includes both the first and second game for only around 10 bucks, now's a great time to pick up a copy and play (*note only 2 has online play). Online is pretty decent cept for the hackers and the looking for girlfriend rooms. Generally you should check out the gamefaqs boards and psoworld if you're interested in online play, they have a list of people who are active and legit playing online so you probably won't get hacked to level 200 or some other crazy shit while playing with them.

But yeah, great game. The graphics are really nice, the story is good, you get to love the characters. The camera is a bit fucked up sometimes, and i've been killed a few times cause of that, but is no big deal.
Great game with a lot of missions to do after you complete the main story.

I would strongly suggest getting Phantasy Star Portabel 2 against the first one. The fact that you can walk around even if your not on a mission beats having to move a circle over some targets. The online is pretty descent.

The first Phantasy Star was pretty bad.
