Alright you know what to do let's discuss this series.

For me this how it works:
Kingdom Hearts - Classic
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories - Amazing Sequel got me pumped for KH2
Kingdom Hearts 2: Somewhat of a let down but such a amazing game.
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days: What? This is just a crappy port with a terrible storyline why is Roxas and Axel gay?
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep: Pretty cool but the story is now officially fucked.
Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded: What? Square-Enix now you're just trying to make money.
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Actually looks amazing, Pumped.

KH1: Loved it.
KH:COM: It was ok, I didn't like the cards very much though.
KH2: I thought it was the best of the series, actually. A great sequel to a great game.
KH358/2: I didn't think it was a crappy port. It wasn't as good as the others, but I found it amusing.
KHBBS: I agree there. Good game, but the storyline (especially Aqua's) was not up to par.
KHRe:C: Yeah... annoying. And the Avatar menu, although amusing if you have nothing else to do, was odd.
KH3D: I can't wait until it comes out. I keep checking for info with my local game store. :)

KH1: Awesome
KH: Chain of Memories: meh,had it for the GBA, the story was good, but gameplay got annoying sometimes.
KH2: Loved it. Started off slow, but once things get going, you're in for a ride.
KH358/2 Days: gameplay was fun as hell, but the story: "well, who's going to have ice cream with me?" FUUUUUUUUUUU-
KHBBS: Loved it. Gameplay was good, a decent prequel to the series.
KHRe:C: heard bad things about this game, haven't played it yet.
KH3D: No idea.

As a side note, the whole Kingdom Hearts storyline was already made before the games were even made, so right now, the story is in bits and pieces. However, once all of the games have come out, then the puzzle that is Kingdom Hearts will be one complete picture that we may appreciate in the long run.

KH1 - This was my favorite game for a while.
KH:CoM - I didn't care for the card system, but I liked a continuation to a great game.
KH2 - Fuckan ecstatic when it came out. Still one of my favorite games, but I don't want to repeat myself too much.

I...never got around to playing any of the other ones, but I heard BBS was amazing, 358/2 to a lesser degree. I don't have a PSP to get the former anyway.

If you haven't bought a PSP yet it's obviously not worth it.

I liked Roxas better than Sora. :<

KH1 - actually enjoyed it pretty well

KH:CoM - was a gba action rpg when it first came out, so i skipped it. didn't miss much if you ask me.

KH2: - having an antagonistic force that wasn't spearheaded by boogie, captain hook and maleficent was nice, but it seemed to of lost some of the charm as the original. could of been saved with more xigbar screentime though. enjoyed it significantly less then the first.

KH: ridiculous fraction of a title - alright for a DS version. wasn't expecting too much though

KH:BBS - best ever. i really don't know what game all you played, but this was the most i enjoyed the series in a long time. plus 2 more xigbar fights. (k, i know it isn't technically him, but whatever, you all know what i mean. and if you don't, well... good luck i guess.)

Kingdom Hearts: Great intro, but the characters were kind of annoying
CoM: Terrible gameplay, but decent story
KH2: Too easy, but The storyline added a lot to the series
358/2 Days: I loved the story, but the nobodies need less emotion
BBS: Answered many questions and brought up so many more. but you kow, Ventus

What's your opinion on the game?

BBS IS FREAKING AWESOME. Doesn't beat KH2 for me though.

Days was one of my favorite installments. It was very emotionally charged and helped patch up a few plotholes. I got kind of tired of the "days" bit and the ice cream scenes, but the story itself was very bittersweet.

My favorite so far is BBS, however. I liked the skill setup and everything, it was so much easier than KH1 and KH2. The story itself was also very developed and involved, though there are some bits that fans seem to accept as fact that I never encountered. Plus, it had a strong female character that was just a shade too fanservicey for my liking.

Honorable mention has to go to Re:coded, however. The combat system was very similar to BBS, plus I liked that you could alter the gameplay at will. Changing the difficulty level at will coupled with drop rates and HP? I really did go for difficult runs this time around.

I have not heard of Re:Coded. What is that all about?

You really need to try the "FINAL MIX" series. They offer extra misisons,more story,expanded dungeons,more bosses,enemys, and storyline secrets,and finally...EXTRA keyblades!

As for Birth By Sleep,it was a prequel thats endings revealed the missing plot gaps between all the other games,as well as characters finally returning to the Kingdom Hearts Universe in preparation for the Kingdom Hearts 3 Storyline.

Btw,anyone else think Aqua is the best chick in the games ever?

KH:COM and KH:Re:COM, didn't really finsih the game, since I was stuck on the same boss on both. I didn't really like the battle style with the cards.
KH 358/2, it was so-so, kinda liked it..it was kinda sad though xD.

I think Roxas has the saddest story because he knows nothing of his past,he isnt supposed to exist,he supposedly doesnt have a heart,he is left in the dark, he loses every friend, and then he forgets all about those friends that he made and lived a life wich ended up all being a lie.

RE:CODED SPOILERS

The only games I really had a problem with were Chain of Memories (orignal for GBA) and Re:Coded. This is because for both of them, they repeated the basic stories that happened in the original Kingdom Hearts within the Disney worlds. I HATED the gameplay in the original Chain of Memories, from the card battles to having to use specific cards to unlock certain rooms. Re:coded...ugh. I guessed from the beginning that "Their hurting will be mended if you return to end it" referred to Terra, Aqua, and Ventus, and I when I beat the game the only thing I was rewarded with was a confirmation of that fact.

Each of the other games I loved in their own ways. The games don't hold the feeling that the original had anymore, but to me, that's not a bad thing. I loved the story of 358/2 Days. I loved the multiple stories way of gameplay that Birth by Sleep had.

And no matter the game, I love the music.

Kingdom Hearts: I got this when i was only 7 years old, It was my first ever video game, and I hold it dear to my heart. It's a Classic.
Kingdom Hearts CoM (original): It was a b***h to play on the GBA, but i still loved it, even more so for the Riku story line,
Kingdom Hearts RE:CoM: Looked way better on the PS2 due to the textures Square-Enix used from the Final Mix series. And due to the game mechanic improvements over the original, it became more of a fave of mine like KH1.
Kingdom Hearts 2: one word: Brilliant.
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days: Played but never beaten, although I do love the multiplayer function since i can play as any OrgXIII member.
Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded: Never played it, but i probably will soon.
Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep: Absolutely love it. The three different story lines really "made" the game. Sure some parts of each were boring, But it was the individual encounters in the different worlds from playing as Ventus, Terra, and Aqua That really hit home. Sure Terra's sory was super similar to Riku's, and Sure Ventus's was similar to Sora's, But they both had decent stories nonetheless. And Aqua's was amazing since you actually had the perspective of a female protagonist (that you got to play as), and the perspective of (technically) a Keyblade Master all in one.
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Haven't played it since I don't own a 3DS, but from what I've seen its amazing. (I have watched all the cut-scenes and have read up on the storyline so I haven't missed anything)

All in All, every game is great in its own right, even if some are better than others. The series as a whole is a Masterpiece.

2. Chain of Memories: Not even close to beating it. I don't have the patience to do the card thing...
3.Kingdom Hearts 2: Favorite mostly because it was my first introduction to the Organization and I love them to death <3
4. 358/2: Have it, but haven't gotten the time to play it
5. Re-coded: Saw my friend play it a bit and it looked interesting, gotta buy it though so I can have all the games. Only way to calm my heart lol
6. Birth by Sleep: Beat like 2/3 of the game because I don't want to play as Aqua -.- I'm not into "magey" characters. More of a brute force kind of person lol
7. Dream Drop Distance: Played a bit of it and am LOVING it so far. But to be honest, I just want them to come out with 3 already... We deserve at least that since they're not going to re-make FFVII (yes, I'm one of those that are pissed off at Square Enix, but hey, I understand, doesn't mean I can't be angry though right? lol)

i have beet both Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 it was fun playing two i beet it in the equizalence of a day

Unfortunately Kingdom hearts has a terrible fanbase. It's all just whiny people, or at least mostly(this can be seen in this thread).
I personally love the series, and I can't wait for KH1.5 ReMix. Mostly because of the 358/2 Days movie, since I don't have a PS3.
In case you guys don't know yet, it's been leaked that it's coming to the US, thanks to Jesse Mcartney. So be happy.

Amongst one of the worst opinions I've ever heard, and KH fans tend to have most of those.

The spin-off's wasn't very good KH 358/2 Days was "meh". Re:coded just sucked. I haven't tried Birth by Sleep and I really want to tr it. KH, KH2 and KH Chains of Memory was awesome. Why do they have to release to the ew KH for DS. Release some for the PS3 dammit

358/2 Days had a great plot and graphical power for the system it was on. The only "bad" point would be the gameplay.
Re: Coded had a weak plot with a combination of Days and BBS gameplay, which worked really well.
The "new KH", Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, was released on the 3DS, not the DS. And it was really good, too. Most people agree that it's just as KH2. There's a KH game coming to the PS3 this year, called Kingdom Hearts 1.5 ReMix, which is an HD collection featuring KH1, KHRe:CoM and a 3 hour movie of KHDays. KH3 will probably come out after a second HD Collection called KH2.5, not yet announced. KH3 isn't being worked on yet because the main KH team is working on Final Fantasy Vs XIII, and they can't handle two huge projects at once. Until it's done being produced, they won't start working on KH3.
