Maybe I shouldn't mention how easy it is to make a lvl 85 on less than a week... well.
IMO, it's a lively game, with good content. Worth going back - if it's a MMO you enjoy. Don't go just cause it's the most popular.
There's plenty of other options, like EVE, Aion, RIFT and it goes on. There's some new ones coming soon too, so...

I've play this game for 6 years while playing for MLG for Arena PVP, this game just isn't worth playing anymore.
IMO MMOs are dying out.

I don't know if WoW's quality is a good measurement for MMO's as a whole...
Speaking from secondhand experience, my brother used to play for a while. He said it was bad after he stopped, but looking back on it he said that the only problem was he got bored. If you've been playing for 6 years you should know what I mean - you've hit the top of the endgame and everything's monotonous, nothing new to see anymore.
All in all, from my firsthand experience playing back during BC, this is a pretty damned good game as far as MMO's go. It just gets old if you blast through content easily.

I've been with WoW for ages. Ever since vanilla.
Like some of you, I too have kind of gotten bored with it. I've hit endgame waaay too fast, to the point were I had finished up with five different characters, all in 25-man "Death of Deathwing" raid gear.
I'm planning on starting up again when Mists of Pandaria comes out later this year, but who knows how long that is going to last. Though I can't wait to make a night elf monk, I main a druid so it's really the same thing.

I played this game since the first version was the only one available (no expansions were made yet). It was great! Had a nice, small guild, my characters were somewhat decent. However, as soon as I found out about the pandorian (spelling?) expansion, I decided to quit because it would ruin everything that I liked about the game.

That depends. I have a very good group of people that I play with, and they are really what makes the game fun for me. The gameplay is great, don't get me wrong, but it's really that social factor that keeps me playing and paying the $15 a month.
Another thing that I like about it is that Blizzard is always improving the game, even outside of the expansions. Since I've started playing, two of the biggest "little things" that they've changed was adding the location of a quest objective to your map, and adding the approximate level of each zone to the continent map.
