I am a fan of many brands. Atlus, Nintendo, Capcom, Namco Bandai, to name a few, and this topic is to generally speak about them.

Atlus, there is NOTHING negative that I can say about them. Any other Atlus Faithful fan can say that Altus hasnt dissapointed their fans yet. With the wide array of games that attract many kinds of gamers, Altus has been my fave, specially with the SMT series. Even when Persona 2 was denied release to the US many years ago, that didnt stop them for releasing it now. Thanks to them, I will be able to play the last games that are left in the Persona spin off, which are Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment. Course, im not a "One-Brand" kind of gamer either.

I grew up with Nintendo, and many of its many games. Mario, Zelda, Kirby, DK, Metroid, Star Fox, Pokemon, ect. to name a few. Im pretty sure I had bought over 100 of their games, in my childhood years. Hooray for flea markets XD. Now that I have a stable job, I still continue to follow the franchise, but lately, I have noticed changes. The part that still nags at me is the fact that they wont give us a solid reason to not release Xenoblade, Last Story and Pandora's Tower. The Europeans have a way better chance to get those games than us in America. I am an avid follower and supporter to Operation Rainfall. Let's also note that the Wii U has been revealed, and the 3Ds has been released... which means the games that are left to play have a very small chance to be released... which brings me to my NEXT Point.

Capcom has made the most noticeable bad move. 2 games. Megaman Legends 3, which was read in a blog post... that if the Downloadble demo didnt meet sales quota, that the game would be scrapped... That is just a low blow to Megaman Legends Fans, including myself. The Monster Hunter 3 online servers in the US would be cut to a drastically few servers, and last but not least, Ace Attorney Investigations 2, not being released outside of Japan. Im a great fan of the series, so these news didnt stop me. I tried to find a rom of such a game, but sadly, Capcom has gotten very stingy against the AA Fanbase, for this game has Anti-Piracy security. If the game is being emulated, the evidence details would be all "XXX" and the conversations would be in Borginian , which is a language shown in AAI 1. Now, I dont condone of illegal actions, but as a fan, I must simply play the game. The thing I hate most, is leaving things unfinished... which brings me to my NEXT point.

Namco Bandai. Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2 & 3. No more needs to be said. I have played RM 1 and have experience what I feel is an imcomplete game, compared to 2 and 3... 1 has 19 different tales chars, with 2 and 3 having 50 then 80 respectively. And also, the many other tales games that werent released to the states, because Namco Bandai is being stingy with us in the US. From what I heard, many people didnt know about the Tales series in an European Gameshow, so when they were shown Xillia, which is the next installment, curiosity was spiked considerably. and the representative said if the people were interested, then they should support it's release by buying Abyss in the 3Ds and Grace F, coming to the PS3. I dont remember anything about that happening in the US. Also, Tales of Vesperia for the PS3 never came... Troy Baker, which is the VA for Yuri Lowell, and is the VA of Vincent in Atlus's upcoming cult Hit Catherine (;D), said that he was called, along with the other VA's to do the additional voice acting for the 2nd half that was added. However, no calls or rumors have been said about Vesperia's PS3 release to the states. Also, before the Graces F teaser was officially shown, they teased us with Vesperia's logo appearing, then the next day, they make the official call that Graces F IS coming instead... I had a lot of mixed feelings that day... Happiness and frustration, all whipped in a soup of ragefests. RM 2 and 3's english release look very unlikely as well, specially with the Vita's already revealed... I doubt they would convert the rest of the PSP's unreleased library to Vita's format... that would make a lot more time to develop, plus more costly.

The release of the games I would really love to play before the fall of the 3rd Gen of video game consoles plummet is like a wet dream on the horizon.

If I had the ability to translate Japanese to English, and had the skill to reprogram the games to be playable to us, I would not care if it was illegal, I wouldnt think twice. Games are meant to be played. Games to us of the gaming community mean much more. They bring us entertainment, they bring us and friends and families together, and unexpectedly, we learn many things. After playing the Persona series, I do not exaggerate when I say they changed the way I see my life. Those games are treated like a business, and unpleased fans as a liability... thats how many of the gaming industries's companies look at us.

This took me a while to write and think about, so please leave your thoughts on the comments below. Just like how the Dollars should stay together, gamers should join together to bring forth their desires of playing the last great gems of the 3rd gen gaming history to be reality. Be it Carribean, American, European, Australian, Russian, Chinese. Japanese. We are all equal... we are all "gamers"

Atlus released some of the best NDS games, you should try SMT: Devil Survivor and Knights in the Nightmare, the best DS JRPG in my opinion.
I think Nintendo of America doesn't want to release Xenoblade here is because they're a business, and no one can guarantee it will sell enough to make up for the localization costs. My point being, it may be the best game ever, but how much people would actually buy it?.
It seems Namco Bandai was just testing the water with the first Radiant Mythology, they noticed it was a good business in Japan, but not everywhere else.
As for Legends 3, I'd be REALLY disappointed if it got scrapped, after all, people WANT that game, just look at the Devroom, people are getting involved in the game's development, which is really good publicity for the game.
(As a side note, I saw this post on Elsword Online's forums too :D)

You have a valid point Ark, its sad to see that a lot of quality games won't be making the trip over to the U.S. but it shouldn't be surprising to you. Just look at E3, sequel, sequel, sequel, reboot, sequel, reboot, WTF, sequel. The gaming world is losing breath due to the money factor. Rather than be inventive and take a chance game companies are going for the "money maker" slot as opposed to making something different and of high quality. I wrote about this same subject on my old website last year, it is sad. I went from playing games all the time to only breaking out the consoles every once and awhile.
I also need to just learn Japanese... that might help
