Has anyone played Chrono Cross? It's on of my absolute favorite games and it's super awesome!!

I've played this, and I find myself agreeing with you on so many levels. A lot of people will compare it to Chrono Trigger and say it wasn't as good, but personally I just loved how this story played out in regards to... everything.

How my heart broke in the Sea of Time when they discovered what their actions had meant for Chrono and the gang.

How the fate of Schala was being recycled time and time again.

That no matter what you did, everything would be lost for something - There was no end all answer.

The opening diary entry, which to this day forces me to feel nostalgia, sadness and a bittersweet amusement at time itself.

And, above all else, the soundtrack - Which captured the feel and emotions of so much of the story. Time's Scar and The Dream that Time Dreams are forever etched in my mind.

Also, honorary mention to Radical Dreamers - The game america never got.

Loved this game, I was absolutly blown away with Chrono Trigger, anb when this game came out I had that same feeling again. Truely a work of art.

Sad thing I was really young when I played it... so many years have passed. My memories of it are sweet, but hazy. I would love to go through the experience again.

Yasunori Mitsuda is one of the best composers, if only they would make this game more known, Chrono Trigger was a great game, but they never seem to bother to mention Chrono Cross. It's a much better game than some of the RPGs we see nowadays....

Had fun with this game! i did prefer chrono trigger :/ the difference is like the difference between A- and A+ though lol

I dug far to bump this back up. One of my by far favorite games ever. My playstation broke so I've recently started anew on an emulator(but i do own it so its legal. :D) and I still play it differently every time.

Things that CT did compared to CC? CC took everything one step further. Alot of ppl dont like the battle system, which I understand, but its not a game breaker for me. The music was still awesome. The major cutscenes were actually better spread out and frequent than Square's other games. Loved the huge amount of choices and unlockable characters. And trans-dimensional travel was the only other logical step after time travel, really. Alot less nerve wracking than passing up boxes int eh past so that you can open them in the future first...

So many memories. :D <3
