One of my favorite PS2 titles. Loved how the US version of DMC3 (not the Special Edition) was harder than the Japanese version of DMC3. (Japan's Hard mode was US's Normal mode. XD)
Plus, did I mention that the soundtrack was amazing?
Planning to pick up the Special Edition just to play as Vergil. (Since I beat the original version already, I can import data to play as Vergil from the getgo, or so I've read.)

I can think of another DMC game that is going to be terrible: DMC5. (Curse you Ninja Team!)
The funny thing about DMC 2 and 3 is the fact that the same people made both games. If you screw up the first time, then you make it godly better the 2nd time.

Devil May Cry 4 was awesome with the addition of Nero. I was hoping DMC5 would include some background info on him and actually have him in the game alongside Dante of course, but no. We get a prequel with some emo Dante. ...Yay...

I wouldn't call it a prequel . . . more like a new DMC all together. Capcom really screwed up by trusting another development team to make this DMC game. It really doesn't make sense at all. In the DMC Animated Series, when Dante was a kid and still went by the name Tony Redgrave, he still had his silver/white hair. So why is teenage Dante's hair dark brownish/ black with only a dab of silver/white? I call bs on that.

True...I know you shouldn't judge a game by it's looks because I'm sure the gameplay is good but Dante with black hair...It just isn't the same. And Ninja Theory should have never been involved in creating this game.

No, if you played the original DMC3, and not the special edition, then DMC3 was the hardest in my opinion. Japan's Hard mode was the US version's Normal mode for Christ's sake!
