Any particular recommendations? I'm looking for something I can play with friends that would be enjoyable. Something just overall entertaining, it can range from anything to anything provided it can get my adrenaline pumping, or perhaps if the story on it's own is compelling enough to progress through. All in all, I'm looking for something I can play with friends.

Actually, I guess that's not true. I'd like for the game to be mechanically interesting at the least. Perhaps something similar (in mechanics) to Ragnarok or Diablo. League of Legends, even, although I currently know about all the AoS styled games.

It's probably noteworthy that I have an integrated graphics card, though I'm able to run things like Heroes of Newerth, League of Legends, DDO, WC3, basic stuff.

Mabinogi might be worth a shot. http://mabinogi.nexon.net/

It's has great social features and the combat system requires some timing and strategy, but isn't completely action. The game doesn't have high requirements either, if I recall correctly.

I don't play it anymore, but I used to always have it installed, just in case I wanted to play it again.

Good luck in your search!

Good to know in anycase. I remember playing Maple Story in particular, something or another turned me off to it, although it hasn't occurred to me to check out Luna, although the other four I just haven't heard of before.

Childhood or not, I doubt my computer would be able to handle anything modern, so I'm hoping something here will suffice.

I used to play Ragnarok and Diablo heavily, they were fun to play with people, but they were also really un-fun when I was playing alone. Out of all the MMOs I've played so far, I'd have to say I enjoyed Shadowbane and Ragnarok the most.

I was looking forward to Ragnarok 2. I don't know what's up.

Oh. DFO. Also hard to enjoy alone.

I'd look into Sword of the New World. (Now known as Sword 2, or Granado Espada outside of North America and Europe)
The game is kind of gind heavy and sometimes the story lacks in places. But the backstory and history of the world is great, as is the atmosphere. It also offers something unique with being able to control 3 characters at once. It's kind of like an MMORPG combined with an RTS in a way.

That's a surprise doctor-san xD i'm also playing Sword 2 :P, may i ask you on which server are you playing?
Well about the game i'd also recommend it, it's a really enjoyable mmo, i already play this for around 3 years i think and i'm still not bored of it xD.

VINDICTUS!!! :D The story isnt particularly anything special. But it's still a story. You can go solo, or with friends. It's pretty cool :P It's essentially a lobby game tho, except instead of a lobby, theres a main town. and each room is a "boat" and whatnot. Its hack'n'slash mmorpg so its brought something new to the table (unless you count DDO as a hack'n'slash but that was more of a pseudo hack'n'slash):P i love it. Add me and i'll help you as much as i can (although i'm only 16 on fiona and 18 on an evie)

Yea I play Vindictus too but it gets repeatative after a while

>>11 I agree with you in the DDO stuff, though it was fun for a while. I doubt I'd be able to run Vindictus on my computer, if I could I probably have been playing it, it looks really neat.

>>9 I used to play Sword of the New World, but then something happened and the servers went down. I hadn't heard about it since, but I'm glad to hear there are servers back up. I really enjoyed that game.

However I didn't like the auto-attack feature in sword of the new world, however I did enjoy the ability to kill monsters several levels above my characters, as long as I was willing to, and managed to, micro my characters.

Today there is an open beta opening for Forsaken World if anyone is interested.

Go get minecraft and play online with friends. Very enjoyable. Even better if you fire up Skype and can talk with them while playing. Many moments of pure horror as you hear a friend freaking out when getting chased by a creeper.

mabinogi was fun, but it wouldn't be an adrenaline game...at least the way i played it, i was more friend oriented

try rustyhearts

The Dark-RO Force server for Ragnarok Online is the best. I play it every day. Been playing for five years, although its been on and off cuz you really do need friends on there in order to really enjoy the game. Its just more fun. As for Ragnarok Online II: Legend of the Second, its still in production, but there's not alot of details yet. Should be out by either next year or 2013 though. Though I highly doubt it'll be free like the first game.

Vindictus is kind of like Monster Hunter.

Try Dungeon Fighter Online (DFO) like what >>8 said. If anyone plays, look me up. Name's TrixBella.

What else...Elsword is pretty good.

Oh and Cosmic Break.

25 Name: Rainyday !nC1AJr2I0g : 2011-10-20 21:42 ID:i9+JULVh [Del]

Actually I just noticed you already played DFO, but if you're still active I could play with you. Soloing is a pain sometimes.
