He is a sorta fun nerdy scientist. I gave him a badass custom armour (from Jin Roh movie) that does more justice to his name.
Also, the game is pretty fun. I was greatly disappointed by F3, but It's leagues above it. Writing (both main story and side quests) is way better, the world is more realistic (the towns actually looks like towns again and there are no retarded things like Tennpenny tower) and interesting to explore and the gameplay is way more polished. The music (not the radio) got better too. Lots of references to the old games too.
All in all, allowing the people that worked on the original games to take part in development of New Vegas payed off greatly. They managed to mix the old charm with new gameplay just right.
The bugs are still there though. I guess it wouldn't be a Bethesda/Obsidian game without bugs.

I heard a joke about how the bugs were a homage to the older fallout games too. xD

Eh, the old Fallout games were pretty stable.
It's more of a homeage to old Bethesda games (the whole TES series, F3). Now those were always bugged as hell with Oblivion being the most stable one.

Now F3 and FNV have problems with quests and more like a fine tendency to fuck up and die constantly or ruin all your save games. ALL YOUR GODDAMN SAVEGAMES OH GOD.
It's a fine tradition of all games Bethesda took part in, going all the way back to Daggerfall (infamously called Buggerfall) and Morrowind.
Also, Gamebryo is a horrible engine.

Mods still manage to make it look half decent though.

Still I really do like this game and they have improved some of the flaws from before.

Feels more Role-play than Action in this one.

Fallout, you have earned a place in my heart for being the best series that never did become completely perfect.

P.S: On a note of bugs, My game crashed right outside new vagas. And decided to hang the save data.

I did'nt enjoy NV as much as #3, but I still very much enjoyed it anyway.

I haven't played this yet, but I have heard Fallout 3 was better. I don't know if I'll ever get this for Xbox 360, but if I get a big enough gaming computer I might get it for PC.
