I just started playing Ys: Ark Of Nepishtim. It's my first Ys game, and it's pretty fun!

Did any of you guys play the games? I heard they're gonna localize some more of them soon.

The awkward moment when we can.

I've played Ys Complete(Ys 1 and 2), Ys Oath in Felghana, and Ys Origins. I have queued up Ys IV Dawn of Ys, Ys IV Mask of the Sun, and Ys Ark of Napishtim.

Unfortunately, don't have a PSP, so can't play Ys Seven. Gameplay looks fun, with the multiple people shtick. Also, Ys Foliage Ocean in Celceta looks fun. Wish they came in PC though. So sadface.

Onto the games I have played. I started with Ys Origins, so it sorta spoiled some stuff from Ys Complete, but I didn't really care. I played through all three characters from Ys Origins, Yunica was really easy, Hugo was sorta hard, and Toal was medium for me. I'm used to close ranged characters, so yeah. Long ranges are new stuff to me.

Then I went to Ys Complete. I just loved the bump system. It was like, bump bitches. BUMP. Just used the arrow keys and that was it. Nothing else. But then part 2 of Ys Complete came, and had to use the magic system, mostly for bosses. Oh and the bosses, they were sometimes difficult, sometimes not. Just had to get used to their patterns and such. Same with Origins.

Then moved on to Ys Oath in Felghana. It was also alright. Had trouble on the last boss, had to redo that so many times, just because I couldn't get the hang of the pattern. Gameplay was the same as Origins, since they are using the same engine.

Then we get to the music. GAWWWD THE MUSIC. Falcom really does make good music for their games, and the Ys Series was no different. I think that's about it.

Also, hoping Ys V Kefin Lost City of Sand will be finished with translation, sooner or later. Rather have it sooner though, since it's been a couple of years since the translation started. Need to play all of Ys...
