I know that IT was popular a while back and not at the moment but I just watched it with my friend and we are quite disappointed about the movie. We had a lot of high expectations because almost everyone we knew and people in the internet said it was the greatest horror movie they had seen til now but honestly we didn't find it anything especial. Rather than scary we actually found the movie a bit funny and stupid because all it had were jump scares and gore. I was expecting a movie that would make you scream and basically run for your life but I didn't feel any of that while watching IT.
Has anyone seen IT? If yes, what are your thoughts about the movie?

While I have seen it multiple times, it was mostly due to the number of family and friends of whom wanted to go and see this with me. The movie was almost purely jump scares which, as a gamer, I can appreciate; the only spooks that weren't jump scares would be the gore. I think that this movie may have done well as a television series, the world-building was masterfully done, but again the horror aspect was lacking. There was more comedy than scares; in the end, I wouldn't see it again, but the first four times I watched this film, I enjoyed myself immensely.

To be honest, the original is best imo and you can never really always top the original. If anything there wouldn't be no reboots without the originals as the ideas possibly wouldn't have been seeded and dug up. - Izaya, Dollars

errr I wouldn't call it the greatest horror movie. It kinda reminds me back of old funny kid horror movie back in the 2000's and 90's. The film way of being obscure, surreal and fun.
