Well Ikigami is a series similar in a pattern . AN Authoreterian governiemtn worked out that a population will operate under the BEST efficiency if they becoume aware of death . Every citizen is injected with a capsule and one in a few thousand will contain poison that will kill the person around their 20's. The thing is noone knows who dies and its different stories about random people and how this effects them and their last moments as well as follows an investigator who tries to get a grip of the system. Many of those people break and commit crimes and such and its their story arks about how it effects them and its really interesting . There is no anime but there is a live action and a manga series.
