The Hateful Eight is a (late) 2015 Western mystery film and the 8th film directed by Quentin Tarantino. It stars Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Walton Goggins, Demian Bichir, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen and Bruce Dern, as, I suppose, the titular "Hateful Eight."
Also Channing Tatum's in it.
The films chronicles the rather fucked up events that take place after eight strangers find themselves stuck together at a stagecoach stopover during a blizzard.
Also of note: the score for the movie was composed by Ennio Morricone, a legendary film composer who's probably most well-known work is probably

Django Unchained as well a while ago. Reading that OP, it's more than a little cringe-y how much I used to worship the guy. I'm not as much of a Tarantino fanboy as I used to be, but still, I refuse to be believe this movie has any flaw. You know, even though it actually has quite a few.
Like being basically Reservoir Dogs with a more elaborate setting. And the main "antagonists" (I guess) villainous plot being kinda retarded. And the prologue being needlessly long. Also, the entire fucking movie being needlessly long.
Yeah. Unlike all of this other movies, it's not perfect. Except it totally is. Tarantino has a tendency to fall too in love with his characters and end up leaving more in than he should, but in my book, all Tarantino is good Tarantino. Most of the time he's self-aware enough to cut out what isn't totally pertinent, but with this one, I think he just let himself go a little. But, well, if you're a fan, this isn't really a bad thing; I was fully aware of the problems with the film while I was watching it, but I welcomed his over-indulgence bullshit with arms wide open. I mean, regardless of how silly the plot might seem at times, watching it all play out is just too fucking entertaining.
