Tremors is a 1990 western monster film (also pretty much action, adventure, sci-fi, suspense, comedy, catch my drift? It's basically a movie with everything!). Tremors has a whole franchise that consists of 4 more movies and a TV series.

Basic Plot: The story takes place in Perfection, Nevada, a not so perfect town in the middle of nowhere with a population of 14. Val and Earl, two handymen, encounter a college student studying seismology, Rhonda, who informs them that she is getting strange readings on her seismograms. When they decide to leave town, Val and Earl encounter a resident of the town on top of an electric tower. Val climbs the electric tower to find him dead. They head back to town to tell the others and leave once more. This time, they see another town citizen dead and go back to tell the others what they saw. They all agree that Val and Earl should go out to tell the police. Unfortunately, on their third time leaving they find two other men who were drilling the road dead! The road is also blocked so there's no way they can get to the other town! When they head back they finally encounter the strange creature that is getting ready to kill off everyone else one by one. Can they save the rest of the town or will they also be dead meat?

Kevin Bacon as Valentine "Val" McKee
Fred Ward as Earl Bass
Finn Carter as Rhonda LeBeck

I really enjoyed this movie. It's one of those movies that I'd definitely recommend to anyone. There's nothing spectacular about it, but it's very engaging and the concept is great. I hope this isn't a spoiler, and it really shouldn't be, but the creatures are underground and I think that's what makes it really interesting. We fear a lot of things, but most of these things we can see. We can't see something underground. We'd never expect it! It touches a new area of fear that we never thought we'd experience. It's not a scary movie, but it's definitely full of suspense. Who's next? Will they survive? What will the monster do to them?

The acting is really great, too! I especially loved Kevin Bacon, but all the actors did a good job and each one was able to make you feel like you personally knew them and were a part of the town as well.

Well, I definitely recommend this. 7/10 It's great, but not amazing and there's continuity errors (quite a bit and they're obvious ones, lol).

Here's the trailer.
