I watched both movies last night. They were okay. Some one kept trying to compare them to harry potter as some one else said they were nothing like that. Over all they were good. I recommend them.

If you've read the books or ever seen a decent movie in your life you'll know the Percy Jackson movies were trash...
Terrible effects, horrible acting, so many things were off, they even just made up half of The Sea of Monsters, they screwed up a good series that had potential for several more movies :(

well gee, i knew they were not top grade all ready bro, i did not read the books and i don't plan to you can not simply read another book after the Eargon books and it not be total craaaaaaaaaaaaap. The Eargon movie, now lets not even go there.

As movies themselves they were as you say "okay". But for those who had read the books prior to watching the films they were just aggravating because of their inconsistencies with the novels. I know for myself, I was extra upset with the second one because of how and when they defeated Kronos... otherwise I did like the movies

I saw them, too! I loves the special effects!
I think they did a pretty good job portraying the storyline, too! Although, I do agree with griffin, how it was a bit too short of how some teenager defeated the strongest antagonist in the series. I did love both the books and the movies!
