Note: Here is the link to the movie on YouTube. I'm not sure if this is the whole thing, I'm pretty sure it is, but it cuts off a bit weird and there are no credits, so I'm guessing that may be why it cut off. I'm not sure.

"It Happened One Night" is a 1934 Pre-Code romantic-comedy film. If you're wondering what Pre-Code is, well, it's basically the time period in between which sound was being introduced into film (1929) and the enforcement of the Motion Picture Production Code censorship guidelines (1934). So many movies during this time were what was considered inappropriate (although I didn't see many inappropriate parts in this film, only a few, and even so, it's definitely not what people today would call highly inappropriate).

Here's the basic plot that was on the back of the movie box (even though the movie didn't work, so that's why I watched it on YouTube): When her father threatens to annul her marriage to King Westley, fortune-hunting playboy, spoiled heiress Ellie Andrews hops a cross-country bus to New York, where she plans to live happily ever after with her handsome new hubby. Romantic complications soon arise, however, when she's befriended by fellow passenger Peter , a brash and breezy reporter who offers his help in exchange for her exclusive story.

Starring Clark Gable as Peter Warne and Claudette Colbert as Ellie Andrews (I think they make a handsome couple)

Oh, it's such a darling movie! Makes me feel giddy! I don't know why, but relationships/love back then, just seems so sweet! <3 I liked this movie, especially, because the two main characters were so sarcastic with each other and you know it's real love when people can be that way with each other (at least in my opinion).

I don't know but something about romantic comedies just always gets me. I love them, because I'm very romantic myself. I can only hope my love will be like a romantic comedy! This movie is just so sweet. Great acting done and I think a great concept. And although the whole, "I didn't like him before, but somehow I've grown to love him" plot is kind of overdone, I think it's still an amazing film and deserves it's 5 Academy Awards. =)

I recommend watching when you're in the kind of mood for something light.

He's the trailer. It kind of sucks, but I mean I already linked the movie so if you think it looks cool from the first few minutes then watch the whole thing. You won't be disappointed. I also really like this scene, and you ought to watch the whole movie because afterwards when it stops, something really touching happens. =')

But yeah, I give this movie like a 9.8/10
