Sabrina is a 1954 romantic comedy based on the play Sabrina Fair. There was also a remake made of it in 1995.

Basic Plot: Sabrina Fairchild is the daughter of a chauffeur who works for the prestigious Larrabee family. Her father decides to send her packing, but she is so madly in love with one of the sons of the Larrabee family, David that she decides she'd rather kill herself than leave for two years and learn how to cook in Paris. She writes her father a suicide note and goes downstairs to the garage and turns on the engine of all eight cars. Before she almost dies she is saved by the other son of the Larrabee family, Linus. She then goes back up to her room and from their leaves to Paris. After two years, she comes back all grown up and glamorous. David falls in love with her the moment he sees her, but the problem is he is already engaged to someone else. Linus, looking at the engagement as a way to get more money, tries to make David forget about Sabrina by taking her out on dates eventually falling in love with her, too. Then the rest of the movie is really charming.

Audrey Hepburn as Sabrina Fairchild
Humphry Bogart as Linus Larrabee
William Holden as David Larrabee
John Williams as Thomas Fairchild, Sabrina's father
Walter Hampden as Oliver Larrabee, Linus and David's father

Well, not much for me to comment. I mean it's really just like it is, a romantic comedy. You've got disapproving parents, your playboy David, you're newly-transformed girl Sabrina, and the guy who tries to act colder than ice Linus. Very general characters in my opinion. You could probably find a very similar romantic comedy, catch my drift? It doesn't take away from the charm of it, though. I love old movies and I love looking at how people acted in the time period, so the way they court each other is just very cute compared to how people do that today. 7/10
