National Lampoon's Vacation is a 1983 comedy film and, I'm sure as you guys know, there was a recent remake of the film this year in 2015. It was based on the short story "Vacation '58" by John Hughes which appeared in the National Lampoon magazine.

Basic Plot: Clark Griswald plans a vacation to go to Wallyworld (a loose representation of Disneyland) with his family, because he wants to spend more time with them for once. Upon starting the vacation various complications arise and recurring aspects of the film are constantly seen, such as bad things happening to their station wagon, bad driving, Clark's sporadic anger, and the Ferrari girl.

Trust me, this movie is very funny and definitely not a waste of time. You love the Griswalds by the end of the film. They're awesome! Good acting too, it's funny without them even trying. I rate it 7.5/10
