Sadly, Jon Stewart, host of the Daily Show for the past 16 years, is leaving. Most of us are still getting over Colbert leaving, but all good things must come to an end. Now, we are left to speculate what will happen to the Daily Show once Stewart leaves.
There has been times in the past when he was absent and someone filled in for him, most notably when he left to make Rosewater and John Oliver took over for the summer. But now, they are going to switch over to a new host (or discontinue the show, but that seems unlikely).

Comedy Central is going to lose a lot of viewers because of this. All that would be left is The Nightly show with Larry Wilmore and @midnight. Not so great shows but I'll accept @midnight.

Cue the inevitable rise of John Oliver.
