1 Name: TurnUpTurnOut : 2014-09-16 16:57 ID:N/bauVxT [Del]

I've only recently gotten into the horror movie genre, but I still want to know which ones are worth watching... So, what is the scariest horror movie you have ever seen? >:)

2 Name: Lovely : 2014-09-16 22:56 ID:tUeScwdz [Del]

By far the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
I was scared for a whole month before I stopped visualizing him.

3 Name: Arcillus : 2014-09-18 16:49 ID:lxoWkabq [Del]

Well a really good horror movie would be the original The Thing. Not necessarily the scariest movie of all time, but definitely worth the watch.

4 Name: Salzamoz : 2014-09-23 04:14 ID:CV48PUSD [Del]

"The unborn" it scarred me for ages and it is actually despite being extremely creepy and scary, the storyline is really fascinating.

"Annabelle" looks like it's going to be pretty scary too! I'm probably going to see that one opening night. :O

9 Name: Onixaquarius : 2014-10-03 13:30 ID:1c1Vm3ZV [Del]

Teke teke is about a japanese urban legend. It's one of my fav horrors :) It has 3 parts.

10 Name: Tsuki : 2014-10-03 17:07 ID:Ezkw/rpd [Del]

The Exorcism of Emily Rose. It's based on a true story. The story line isn't bloody or stuff but believe me, it's hella scary, though it's a kinda old movie.

11 Name: TimeWhisperX : 2014-10-04 05:01 ID:H6ERWaGW [Del]

Teke teke:A girl who got split into half by a train.Became a vengeful spirit and who will cut any victim in half at night.
I watched the conguring already. The annabelle in real life is cuter

Going off of character design and what's currently sending shudders down my spine alone, I'd go the 2013 film 'Mama'. It's directed by the same guy who directed Pan's Labyrinth. It's like it's borrowed the uniquely creepy vibe from that movie and taken it up to eleven, then added a few jump scares and even more terrifying imagery for good measure. That freakin' nightmare scene gave me the absolute creeps.

Birdemic.

14 Name: Hill !DBRA/23qi. : 2014-10-13 05:30 ID:I/Hj+rGZ [Del]

Dragon Ball evolution. It's an unintentional horror movie, but still scary as hell to anyone who know the series...

>>14 Good one! I am familiar with the series and have heard nothing but horror stories about that particular movie. x)

19 Name: FREEHOXTON : 2014-10-20 21:01 ID:lbeNzrQF [Del]

Not the scariest, but The Orphanage is a great horror movie by the director of Pan's Labyrinth and Pacific Rim. I also recommend the classic Poltergeist, except it's not scary at all.

20 Name: kenpachi : 2014-10-25 03:00 ID:xkB+yRC6 [Del]

Have you watched Carrie (2013) yet

21 Name: : 2014-10-31 08:15 ID:ftoyvVFp [Del]

>>10 Yes, The Exorcism of Emily Rose. I'm not a religious person but as a Catholic this scared me so much I made sure I slept before 3am. T.T

A lot of Asian horror films are really good. Like Shutter. Or famous ones like The Ring, The Grudge or the original One Missed Call.

22 Name: 秋子 : 2014-11-04 14:14 ID:mxR88Y0H [Del]

"Shutter" a Thai Horror Film - the scariest horror film I've seen until now.
For me, Asian horror films are the best - Japanese, Korean and Thai films!

no kenpachi i have not

24 Name: Joppix : 2014-11-05 00:31 ID:1DfYjRth [Del]

Oculus isn't so bad..

But there's a problem: there aren't good horror movies since a lot of time, and the old good horror are too old to be scary ç_ç

25 Name: Dummy : 2014-11-05 23:36 ID:2cfkhv0F [Del]

Most suspenseful is the original Thing.

Most comedic is the original Exorcist.

Most tedious is every Paranormal Activity.

26 Name: Arcillus : 2014-11-06 18:12 ID:0AzSbGO+ [Del]

the original The Thing is an amazing classic, I absolutely love that movie. I personally like Candyman its kinda stupid. Also Dead End is a pretty good one as well reminded me a lot of a darker twilight zone(original series).

27 Name: Ulza57 : 2014-11-07 09:09 ID:t7K8bT9f [Del]

how about The conjuring or Insidious? or The Uninvited.. they'r not too bad ^^
but the most scariest could be Child's Play (chucky) and Freddy vs Jason.
oh my!, i almost got paranoia at night >_<
(it's true)

28 Name: Anonymous : 2014-11-09 02:10 ID:2CiABHyp [Del]

I watched the David Cronenberg film "Shivers" the other day.
It's kind of scary, but on a different level, I think.

29 Name: Yuri Leonhart : 2014-11-10 17:03 ID:7Wdi3/4o [Del]

The Exorcist is soooo scary when i first saw it 0_0

30 Name: ButtermilkPancakes : 2014-11-11 05:42 ID:adz/oa+e [Del]

Jacob's Ladder. Influenced the Silent Hill video game series. Nuff said.

31 Name: Neige !h45CN3bvL2 : 2014-11-11 07:30 ID:E3rwJQ+n [Del]

I didn't find The Exorcist scary at all. It was a very good movie all in all (8.5/10, maybe) and I'd probably watch it again, but at no point in the movie did I feel any suspense or sense of fear of what I was seeing. It's more of a psychological thriller. With a demon.

Also some of it was cheesy to the point of hilarity, and I absolutely lost it at that spider-walk scene (which, probably rightfully, wasn't in the original cut).

32 Name: chrome.grips@gmail.com : 2014-11-12 09:47 ID:2CiABHyp [Del]

>>31 This. 1000%.
I'm not scared of "demons" though, so that probably has something to do with it.

33 Name: Izaya O. : 2014-11-13 17:19 ID:cn2JDtkX [Del]

35 Name: Chi-chan : 2014-11-30 05:21 ID:IzqHmHCV [Del]

One missed Call and Ju-on *Chi-chan shiver*
I'm not scared of western horror movies for some reason. I think Japan horror movie is more scary ._.

38 Name: BlueWorld : 2014-12-05 22:13 ID:+iUyilZ+ [Del]

Don't forget One missed Call 2 and One Missed Call 3

39 Name: Natalia : 2014-12-06 01:59 ID:PTLkCbmd [Del]

I've never seen any horror film ever :|

40 Name: LittleRat : 2014-12-08 10:55 ID:8reU9jzc [Del]

Mhhh Chucky is pretty bad.

I know many horror movies, but in the end it can depend a lot on personal fears. Also I don't whant to throw in some banned movies.

Sadly I am more helpful in horror in books and games. So I can only say chucky creeps me out.

41 Name: LightningXDash02 : 2014-12-09 13:29 ID:L/VT+tfC [Del]

45 Name: Loerpiou : 2014-12-14 15:25 ID:S7Hax3EK [Del]

>>42 yup, nearly killed myself when I watched them... :0

46 Name: Shikai : 2014-12-14 22:31 ID:bGVhHQCL [Del]

My personal faves are:
The Ring
John carpenter's the witch house
(or pretty much anything from the masters of horror collection. they are a good satisfying horror, not so much Gorey but definitely along the lines of brain scare not body scare.)
