T^T the movie came out in theaters on Saturday the 20th, and my city was also screening it, but I ci=ouldnt go because it was my moms birthday. t^t Did anyone else see it in theaters and did they get the rare itmes.
I saw the live showing at J-town!It was a special screening from Aniplex.I was lucky because I got the letters from Menma!The movie showing is going across america.If you want to find out about time and place,I suggest you go to the Aniplex website. Crunchyroll.com has some info on it!look it up!
Ironically i was just about to watch it, i have seen it before but i'm watching it again. I'm going to watch the last one soon so i must prepare... to cry a lot.
Frankly, I didn't think the story needed to be retold in a condensed format. The original series laid everything out perfectly. The way this movie jumps around so much and almost entirely recollection is a little jarring and I wouldn't have felt anywhere near the same effect if this was my first experience with AnoHana as opposed to watching the show first. I personally wish they kept the repeated clips to a minimum, emphasized the post-series events and made it an OVA or shorter film depending on how much time that would actually take up (it notably didn't feel like much).
Just watch the series and skim through this movie if you want a bit more. If it ain't broke, don't copy it into an inferior model.
