The movie was alright. It didn't have a lot what I wanted-that being Godzilla kicking ass a lot-but it did have good moments. I hear it's a hit but I wish the sequel could delve more into Godzilla himself and be about him. Most of the movie isn't really about him which is a shame. But still a good film to see.

To all the people who don't know is Bryan Cranston is a person who likes a plot and dialogue with some monster shots. I prefer Godzilla this way because I find the other ones that just has Godzilla fighting stupid. Great work this movie was and I gives it 9.9 out 10 must watch.

I personally enjoyed the new Godzilla more than Pacific Rim. Godzilla (2014) is far from the best movie I've ever seen, but I enjoyed the entire thing. I wouldn't buy it myself or anything, but if I found it on TV I'd watch it. It's also a great movie to watch with friends!

Funnily enough, I was much more invested in the monsters than the human characters, most of whom were really bland. The only two human characters I was interested in at least a little bit were Ken Watanabe's and Bryan Cranston's characters, but one of them *spoilers*. The fights between the monsters were really fun, though.

Just got back from the movie. It was pretty darn good, especially the final part with Godzilla and the Muto's. I think my main issue was that the structure made the movie focus way too much on the human drama whenever I was pumped to see Godzilla do battle. Still, that final Kamehameha wave scene was worth it in my opinion.

To be honest I felt bad watching this because by the middle of the movie I didn't give a flying shit about the human characters and only wanted to see more of the monster fights. Fights I feel were cut short due to the stupid human scenes they had to put in lol. Just my opinion but I could've done without.

first off I want to say sorry to those who like the movie. but to me the movie started off strong that put hope that it was going to be a great movie. then in my opinion flops into having to watch a movie about everyone besides the supposed main character Godzilla (it is odd consider that is the title of the movie) instead of showing Godzilla like the trailers showed.
it follows 2 other monsters (I guess you could call them that), a guy (who wasn't a very good character, mainly because even thought he is shown from beginning to end of the movie, me and everyone who saw the movie with me didn't even remember the damn guy's name or his family.)
honestly, I am sorry for those who may actally like the human characters in this movie, but I didn't , again sorry - I couldn't connect with most of the human characters to give a crap about them. but I did like that one guys dad. to me he was the reason why I thought the movie was going to be great in the beginning cause unlike most of the other character - besides Godzilla - showed emotion and moved me to care about them. even if we didn't get to see them that much in the movie when they were on scene you will actally pay attention.
but I did love the the special effect ( mainly the monster cause they look beast)

Yeah, it's pretty sad that the the title was Godzilla, yet he was lacking throughout the film. But that part where SPOILERS he ripped off the MUTO'S head and shot atomic breath down its throat was pretty fucking awesome.
