This upcoming sequel to 2011's "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" is the next chapter into the Apes saga following Caesar years after the events of the first movie. At the San Diego Comic Con the movie was promoted with a curious logo on T-Shirts given out with the message "Knowledge is Power" over what looks like the window from Caesar's room in the first movie. It appears this is a flag for the Apes as they begin their ascent as the dominant species though a band of surviving humans may give them a run for their money. Truly it is a curious tale making me wonder how far the Apes have come and how strong it's themes will be this time around.

There's a new trailer out now. But its rather lackluster. Not bad, doesn't reveal a lot but its not a lot shown either.

The Rise of the Planet of the Apes was a lot better than I thought it would be, the CG was actually really good compared to most every other movie out now.

I wouldn't say trying to be smarter makes someone "evil". What is evil is up to one's own views.

There was a new trailer released awhile back (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PkycgrscWVM) and just recently news buzzing about footage revealed to a select audience at Wondercon. Honestly I'm rather disappointed at the marketing campaign overall BUT there has been lots of buzz for this film at it's official tumblr page (I don't have the link to that, sorry) and I believe on their twitter which star Andy Serkis has been helming. So if you're still interested in more news for the film I'd say check out their additional sites.
