Life doesn't always go according to plan. Pat Solatano (Bradley Cooper) has lost everything -- his house, his job, and his wife. He now finds himself living back with his mother (Jacki Weaver) and father (Robert DeNiro) after spending eight months is a state institution on a plea bargain. Pat is determined to rebuild his life, remain positive and reunite with his wife, despite the challenging circumstances of their separation. All Pat's parents want is for him to get back on his feet-and to share their family's obsession with the Philadelphia Eagles football team. When Pat meets Tiffany (Jennifer Lawrence), a mysterious girl with problems of her own, things get complicated. Tiffany offers to help Pat reconnect with his wife, but only if he'll do something very important for her in return. As their deal plays out, an unexpected bond begins to form between them, and silver linings appear in both of their lives

One of my favorite movies actually. Jennifer Lawerence deserved the Ocsar for her role in this. Brilliant actinf from all the cast, especially Bradley Cooper (Which was weird to see him act....well?). Screenplay was fantastic as well, strong characters and the plot wasn't too cliche or obvious.

I liked the movie, a lot actually, but it didn't really "wow" me like it seems to have done everyone else. I wouldn't say it's one of my favourites, but I did really enjoy it, and I'll definitely watch it again sometime soon.

Oh God.. I watched this film at the cinema and I was totally captured by the story. Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper were Amazing, they're two of my favourite Actors and I really loved their interpretations. And the plot is Amazing too. It is really introspective and examines lots of aspects of life that we live everyday, maybe without paying them attention.. such as things people do for us without our greetings.
