The Boondock Saints is a 1999 vigilante film written and directed by Troy Duffy. The film stars Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus as fraternal twins, Connor and Murphy McManus, who become vigilantes after killing two members of the Russian Mafia in self-defense, the media naming them the "Boondock Saints". After both experience an epiphany, the brothers, together with their friend (David Della Rocco), set out to rid their home city of Boston, Massachusetts of crime and evil; all the while being pursued by FBI Special Agent Paul Smecker (Willem Dafoe).

Okay, so time for my sweet little opinion.

There are two movies out in the series, and even though they're mostly low budget films, they have an amazing cast and vibe. Troy Duffy does an amazing job at writig and directing the two films and is just fantastic. If you want some really quotable things, just look at Rocco's rant from the beggining of the first movie, were he pretty much sums up the meaning of the Saints.

All in all, the chemistry between the whole cast is great, and its a beautifuly series, with a very comicbook like style of action. 10/10

FUCKING LOVE THIS MOVIE! I like the sequel as well. Its funny as hell, has good action scenes & has a Irish theme... all good traits in my opinion. (especially cause I'm Irish ^^)
