If you liked the book then you'll like the movie. It well portrayed and accurate.

For what it had, I thought it was pretty good. But there were also other things that I greatly disliked. I thought that the portrayals of Gatsby, Nick, and Tom were awesome. I felt that Daisy's portrayal wasn't very good, and Jordan, George, and Myrtle were underdeveloped. Another thing was that as much as I loved the set and costumes, the soundtrack was distracting. Overall, it's balanced with what I like and what I don't like.
